RED HANGER CLEANERS & LAUNDRY

I took a jacket with decorative buttons around the neck line  to be dry cleaned.  I paid $4.25 for the service and got the jacket back it was not clean.  So I had asked that they try again to clean. No big deal was made of it or rush to get it back, I just asked that they try again.  The process they would use was not explained to me or that it might damage the jacket.  As I was about to drive off Mary came back quickly to the car with a piece of paper and asked that I sign it so they would have permission to re-do it.  I signed it sticking out of my car window and did not read it.  MY FAULT!  When I returned to pick up the jacket a new girl (bless her heart) had been asked to give me the bad news that the jacket was ruined with a letter to me that stated why it was MY FAULT that it was ruined.  The plastic buttons had melted onto the jacket.  The letter was so rude and unprofessional and stated that they would give me a $20 credit (now remember I have already paid $4.25 for the first cleaning) and they were doing this even though it was NO FAULT of theirs.  Botton line is I was not upset about the jacket being ruined but I am so upset about the way it was handled and how I was treated.  This isn't about $$$ but their lack of responsibility for their actions and a letter simply signed "management."  I was a very good customer of theirs.  WAS!!! Past tense, and not because they ruined my jacket.
