Perfect Turf Inc,

I am submitting this review because I noticed 2 other reviews by customers who were dissatisfied; whereas I am very satisfied.  I have been using this company for weed control since 2005.  Prior to that date, I changed companies numerous times, because they didn?t get the job done.  I think 8 years is long enough to give an informed opinion!  I also receive compliments from my neighbors about how good my yard looks.
The technicians who apply the chemicals have knowledge about what they?re doing, i.e., they?re not untrained laborers.  If I ask them a question and they don?t know the answer, they get me an answer.
Also, unlike Terminix, another company I use, they leave a LEGIBLE report of what chemicals they applied, the specific purpose of each treatment and instructions to me about what I should do, i.e., time frame for watering, to assure I gain maximum benefit from the application.  
The owner is hands-on and always looking for ways to improve the management of his company.  For example, he recently reduced the scope of services performed by the company.  They stopped doing mowing and edging, so he can concentrate on weed control, which is the lawn maintenance function he finds the most challenging and most rewarding.   When he changed the name of the company from Perfect Turf to Green Land Turf, he sent explanatory letters to his customers.   He is also in the process of implementing a computer-based invoice and payment system.
He is a member of the BBB, so I know that if I ever have a problem I cannot resolve with him, I will be able to resolve it through a BBB mediator.

They had a strock spray routine, and seemed not to be interested in addressing specific issues on our lawn. They originally quoted $30 per treatment, but charged $40 per treatment'

We tried them for about six weeks. We had some issues that we needed to talk to them about and they kept making appointments and skipping the appointments. They charged $10 more per appointment than they quoted. Their punctuality wasn't bad for the days they came.
