Overpriced, incomplete, abundant up-selling! They charged me $890, simply to install a couple of outlet boxes in my kitchen ceiling, and did not even verify they had power. After I submitted my request for service, Isaac showed up the next day to evaluate the work to be done. He was a salesman, not a technician. He pointed out everything in my 1920's house that was not "up to code," trying to drum up a bill 4x larger than what I needed, and sell me on a whole-house surge suppression system, and sell me on a monthly subscription maintenance plan. All not worth it. I was quoted a price of $890 to repair my kitchen light fixtures. I wanted it done, so I agreed. The next day, the electrician showed up. He removed the old canister lights from my kitchen ceiling, and installed a couple of generic plastic electrical outlet boxes in their place, so I could later install the light fixtures of my choosing. He left without even verifying there was power to the fixtures. What a rip off!

I have been using HSV Mr E for years. This was the third project. First was complete rewire of the house; second was garage and shop; this was a small outside security light. Zac, Josh, and Gage are the 3 who performed the work, Gage last of all. I cannot recommend them more highly - they are dedicated to 10 out of 10 and a 9.8 is unsatisfactory to them. The level of skill, education, and genuine custom caring is unmatched, and I have had plenty of service folks helping out with my restoration. A little pricey, but when you're trying to get something fixed outside of major cities in the SE AL area, Mr. Electric is about the only pro who would even return my calls! Not to mention, when they said they'd be at a certain spot at a certain time, they were there! Literally not a single other "professional" in the area that I've worked with has been able to match that service. Sometimes you really *do* get what you pay for.

This was the first time I used Home Advisor to find a contractor. Home Advisor linked me with Mr. Electric who did an outstanding job. They were on time, on budget, courteous, professional, and totally a pleasure to work with. Thomas installed a 50 and 30 amp service for us at our property servicing two RV lots as well as installed a power pole with a meter box for the power company to tie into. Jan was a pleasure to work with as she was the voice for the company dealing from everything from scheduling to invoice as well as general questions. Jan was very pleaseant and professional. We will use Mr. Electric in the future and highly recommend their service...
