Mike Manosky; Movetohuntsville

Mike was outstanding! I had a few different realtors lined up to show different areas of the Huntsville/Madison area, and just to make sure I interview a few options re: realtors, and when one cancelled Mike adjusted his schedule to make sure that my limited time in the area was not wasted. I basically flew in for 3 days of intensive house hunting. Mike was prompt at our first meeting and had a series of houses lined up based upon our criteria. He was very knowledgeable of the area and provided great advise and counsel to make sure our purchase was not only only perfect for us but also resell-able or rent-able when we move in 3-4 years.
After selecting a home, Mike really earned his commission on the negotiation. He provided great information not only on comps and previous sale history but also the going and max rates per sq foot for the neighborhoods to help us come to an offer price. We purchase the home 7.5% below asking after a few days of tough negotiations. But his service did not stop there. He provided a good list of candidates for the follow-on services that I needed to schedule (home inspections, radon testing, etc). He also helped check local banks for a comparable loan (although it is tough to beat PenFed) and attended the home inspection. This was really important to us since we could not be back in town for that and we needed a good representative to make sure the property was tip-top shape.  He also took copious amounts of photos for us during the inspection (although we had the sales photos after seeing 40+ homes in three days we really appreciated the refresher).
All in all we have not had a better experience with a realtor in our 3+ home buying instances and this might be the first time I think the agent really earned every dollar of the commission.
