This is a difficult location - a house in the woods at the end of a 200 ft long narrow driveway. Provider surveyed the job twice twice, once to assess the work and again to see if a crane could be brought close enough to do the job safely. Crew arrived on time with 2 trucks and the crane and set up quickly. The 70 ft tall ash which was 5 feet from the house was taken down first without incident. Crew worked quickly and efficiently to cut up and chip the sections. Trimming the oak in the deck was next and went off smoothly.
The 40 year old maple closest to the house was cut and lifted out with 1 pass of the crane. All the crane work was complete in 3 hours. The last tree was felled in place into the ravine behind the house and not chipped. What impressed me was how well the crew worked together and that they had all the right equipment and training. Most wore wireless intercom headsets so everyone knew what was happening on site. They did everything promised. Very transparent operation - I asked a lot of questions and got good answers and the cost was less than quoted, no damage was done and no one was hurt. I happily wrote my check and they were on their way.

Great job of tree removal. The problem happened after the job. Before they were hired they stated they took credit cards. After the job they demanded cash or 'there would be consequences'. Not a pleasant transaction.
