Landa Pennington

Moved to the Huntsville area to be near family after many years apart. As I began a job search, Landa Pennignton was recommended to me as a realtor. Over several months we looked at many homes. A lot of homes. Eventually I found work and a nice home in my expected price range of under one hundred thousand. With nearly an acre, Landa pointed out how much of my free time would be spent mowing grass; that storage space was very limited. Although the property just across the road was steeply downhill, Landa phoned me just before my commitment to buy to say this home was in a flood plane and flood insurance would be expensive. I foolishly relented. As I grew weary of the continuing process, I finally caved as Landa recommended a property on an acre and a half, with an extra garage (nice), that was over my preferred budget, of lower quality, and that I could only get if I paid the full asking price. I couldn't continue, I signed the papers, Landa got her higher percentage, though never mentioned how the back yard floods during medium, much less heavy, rain. I recognize it was my own mistake, as was my trust in Landa Pennington.
