This company required a deposit to procure materials prior to start date. They contacted me less than one week from when work was to be completed and told me they had labor issues, scheduling delays etc. and would not be able to begin or complete the project as agreed. We mutually agreed to return the deposit via U.S. Postal Service. Two different times were mutually agreed when "K" was to bring me my deposit. Again, "K" did not show-up. They do not return email correspondence or answer phone calls. I filed a complaint with BBB and Earthscapes did not respond to the BBB. I have no choice but to pursue legal action. I do not recommend this company whatsoever.

Mowing team calls when they come to have access to the entire yard.

Was assured after talking with landscaper that office staff would contact me to make an appointment. I left a couple of messages for them to contact me and it was several days later I got a call stating that they would not be able to help out. By this time, the "bind" had not gotten better as you can imagine. I was contacted several days later to have the office staff inform me that the landscaper could not perform the work. I submitted an inquiry on their site about my concern and what I'l like to have done. I got a call from the office staff stating that the landscaper did not agree to perform the work. Since the office staff was not involved with the conversation, I asked that the landscaper contact me because I was really in a bind. I was told by the office staff that they know all about any agreements made by the landscaper and they had not agree to performing any work. Then they added, "if i ran my business correctly, I wouldn't be in a bind". As I explained to the landscaper, I have a relatively new business and had made a mistake and was looking for a way to correct it in an ethical, legal manner.

Cannot recommend this company.  Did not perform job as expected, dug up enough to look convincing but found out next year that they didn't do what they said.  Owner insisted he'd done all he could to kill a thorn bush, I ended up taking a hatchet to open up into the trunk, pouring in poison and killing it.  He's an expert, I'm not.  He should have done the job.

Contacted Eli (from good word of mouth) to dig up some invasive, young trees, prune crepe myrtles, dig up a thorn bush.
When we met (he was timely), I had a map drawn of the property with what I wanted done marked and detailed for him.
The job was performed a few weeks later.
I come up and the wrong bush had been cut to the ground and the one behind it, that was supposed to be removed, was still intact.  Um.  No.
I contacted him and his crew came up a little bit later.  They cut the bush to the ground, not removed it like I had requested.  Being a thorn bush from the previous owner and their idea of home defense, it was a fairly unpleasant bush and needed to be removed.
Eli said he'd come out and poison it because it was too big to kill.
Despite his claims that he'd come out personally and sprayed it several times, it never died.  He said he couldn't do anything further.  
The next year, I was seriously p***** off to see that the area where I'd asked for the saplings to be removed hadn't been touched.  The thorn bush was back and healthy again.
I tried using a chain to pull it out but that didn't work.  What did work, the first time, was taking a hatchet to the exposed trunk (from the previous year) and pouring root killer from Home Depot on it.
It worked.  Immediately.
Essentially, I paid for work that was never done (clearing out saplings, removal of thorn bush) and they cut down the wrong plant after I had drawn the map, walked him around and made clear the scope of the job.  
Will never work with them again.

I buy most of my plants at Earth Touch, which is owned by his dad. Eli and his employees always do a good job and I plan to use them again this spring to do some changes in my landscape. Can highly recommend them.

We wanted to re-landscape our courtyard because it had the boring plants that builders generally provide. I told the landscape architect that we wanted lots of color and something on the brick walls -- something contemporary since we have modern tastes. The custom plans he drew up included a crepe myrtle (which EVERYONE has in their yard!), TEN azalea plants, and HAY BASKETS on the walls! Since when are hay baskets contemporary!?!?! In addition to this the estimate was about $1,500.00 above the budget we gave him.) Boring, expensive and not contemporary. Not exactly what we asked for.

I called for an estimate, and they never showed up after promising an appointment. I hired someone else.

They really do a good job and they did our initial landscaping as well and did a fine job at that. We've been very happy, we've been doing business with them for 6 1/2 years. When they get here, the crew checks the sprinkler system and does stuff like that, there is a different crew for different applications, I suppose, and they all seem professional and they've always done a good job.

Company responded quickly and replaced several 'old' sprinklers in a timely manner. His work was good and he was reasonably priced, we will use them again.Thank you

Bad experience...The estimate went well, expensive, but he was timely and professional for the most part. But the rest was less than fair. I had to call several times to get a scheduled time to come out. The day they were to come, they were going to come first thing in the morning. I had to call several times to find out where they were. They finally showed up around 11, did the job in a couple hours, and did not leave an invoice, nothing but the old estimate with instructions for the next job written on it. I called Wendy to pay on the phone, she did not answer. She called a couple times after and emailed me a form to pay by credit card. I sent an email back saying please send me an invoice. She did, and called my phone repeatedly, on about the third day she called and left a threatening voice mail..and rdquo;I have called you repeatedly I guess we'll just have to charge you a 38 dollar late fee if I don't get the payment by 2:00 today. We charge a late fee after the 5th of every month till the balance is paid.and rdquo;, This was on the 4th of April. She sent me an invoice for 550 plus 38 late fee. I figure since I was going to pay a late fee anyway, and they took their sweet time scheduling the service, since I waited all morning and was late for my afternoon appointment I would pay them just like they serviced me.....the service was excessively priced, and they conduct themselves as if they were a small and unprofessional business. I would not call them again. If you pay top dollar for services you expect them to be timely and professional, and if they smoke on your property, they should not pass their cigarette, back and forth to each other. It looks bad to the customer. Also she sent an email to my job to ask if they could give her my address so that she could send me a letter, in an attempt to cause trouble on my job I guess. She had my address, she was trying to harass me. And this was just a little over a week after they came to do the service, small and unprofessional.

They are very respectful of the property and they take care of it well. They have been very responsive to any issues we have. I haven't checked prices to see if they are competitive or not. They are a good group of kids.

He came over to spray some stuff on our lawn and was suppose to be $30. He said we would hear from him the next day but would not hear from him in 3 weeks. He is very unorganized and hard to get a hold of.

.I love Earthscapes because of the work they do. They are reliable, They are also open to suggestions.

His name is Eli Houser. I would highly recommend them. In fact we hired them to do all our landscaping outside now. His price was in the ballpark. I had gotten other bids. They came out and said what it would cost and what they would do to put it all together. Everything is alive and functional. They really did a very good job. It was to the point where my wife asked how much it would cost to do full maintenance. It was within her concept so they are now doing everything outside. Instead of having several people do things, they are now doing everything. They are tremendous. When they said they would be here, they were here right on time. They do what they say they are going to do and the price stays the same.

They were on time and always responded promptly to phone calls. We have a long, almost vertical driveway, and it took them a long time to move the dirt from the bottom of the driveway, one small load at a time, up the driveway to the yard. They did a great job; the only problem we had was that we asked them to only put dirt in certain areas, just the areas that needed to be filled in. We wanted to keep as much of the original dirt as possible, because the dirt already in the yard was a better quality than the dirt they brought. They covered the whole yard with the new dirt, and they didn't place the rocks exactly as my husband wanted them placed, and had to come out again at no charge to fix it. They did come back and fix it quickly, though.

They are prompt, professional and provided a quote for the work, they showed up as scheduled, performed the work very nicely, and return each week for maintenance tasks. "No worries, mate" comes to mind.

We haven't used them. It seems like they are very nice. They work around your schedule for getting the quote done. It is great because a lot of companies don't work on the weekends. They are pretty good with flexible schedules. I think they are kind of expensive and that is the reason we didn't go with them. I don't remember their quote because I got quotes from a lot of other companies. But I remember them being a lot more expensive so we didn't pursue their quote. They were flexible and they were very nice. We thought it was convenient to use them because they happened to provide both the services we wanted. It took them a while to get the quote back to us, even though it seemed like they have been around giving out quotes quite often. I would consider getting a quote from them in the future, but right now we are not sure.

The weekly lawn maintence is timely and very professionaly done. They have fixed the sprinkler system when needed, cleaned up after storms, and always been happy to answer any of my questions. The landscaping was also very professional. The design was presented and the onwer of Earthscpes, Eli, met me at the nursery to show me the palnts and explained in great detail the pros an cons of each. The actual landscaping was quickly done and looks great. There are plans to do more landscaping and I am looking forward to the results!!

They were going to tear up an existing bed and several smaller beds. The work also included complete replanting and development of three or four other beds. I dealt with Ila Hauser. He was very professional. I liked him very much. He was more expensive than I could afford, though.
