It went downhill from the start. He had a lady with him whom he didn't introduce...I found out later it was his wife, but at the time I wasn't sure why she was there.

Don and his wife did a wonderful job removing the wallpaper from the rooms. He was professional and courteous. His work was excellent. He and his wife cleaned up after the job was done. He offered to come back and do some touch-ups, but my husband felt like this was something he could do.
I will be using Mr. Hereford again. (unless he gets too busy from these reviews! :)

Don gave a great price, he arrived on the day we agreed and was on time and 100% ready to get to work. Don protects all floors with drop cloths. He tapes and papers all necessary surfaces to prevent drips and damage to carpet, tile, woodwork. The job went smoothly. Don works in an extremely organized fashion; therefore he finished the job quiclky and beautifully. Don knows about paint, how it reacts and how much time to allow in between coats. The job turned out bright and beautiful. Don did an excellent job.

Absolute best painters we have ever hired!!! My wife and I have moved six times in the last 13 years. We have had good painters and not-so-good painters. Cover All Painting is easily the best we have ever dealt with. We just purchased a house in Madison and did our research on Angie's List. Don and his wife Johnnie showed up early and worked late for 3 straight days. Their work was top notch, and frankly, they didn't charge enough for the quality of work they did. I wholeheartedly recommend using them.

Don came when he said he would, and he and his wife painted our living room and cleaned up very nicely. Don did a bathroom rennovation for us two years ago, and so I was not surprised when he did an outstanding paint job for us this time.

They were prompt, courteous and I will use them again in the future.

This was the second time I hired Cover-All Painting, Don Hereford. Don gave me a good price to paint my guest bathroom and hallway. The work was excellent and both areas look beautiful. Part of the reason I selected the color I did was because Don suggested a nice green shade would look good. I love green so I chose a Sherwin WIlliams paint color called and quot;Wheat Grassand quot;. My 1970's guest bathroom is tiled from floor to half way up the wall in white 4and quot; tile with pink trim tile. The walls had previously been painted white and it made the room look lifeless. Now that the walls are painted the green shade, it totally down plays the pink and makes the room look gorgeous. I could not be more pleased.

Also, the hallway is now brighter and I absolutely love it.

Great job, very pretty results.

DON CAME TO US AFTER HOURS AT 6PM ON TIME TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK OF TAKING DOWN OUR WALLPAPER IN THE DININD AREA AND EAT IN KITCHEN AREA. ONCE WE AGREED ON THE PRICE WE MADE APPOINTMENT TO HAVE HIM COME NEXT DAY AT 8AM. HE WAS ON TIME AND STARTED RIGHT TO WORK. THEN HE LEFT FOR A BIT AND CAME BACK WITH HIS WIFE (JOHNNY) TO FINISH THE JOB AT THE AGREED UPON TIME OF 4 PM. WITH BOTH OF THEM WORKING IT WAS FINISHED QUICKLY. THE JOB WAS VERY WELL DONE. THEY ARE CONSIDERATE OF YOUR PETS AS WELL. THEY CLEAN UP THE PROJECT SITE WONDERFULLY. I WOULD REHIRE AND TRUST THEM TO DO ANY PROJECT IN MY HOUSE. THEY ARE WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO DO QUALITY WORK AND ARE ON TIME FOR EVERYTHING. THANK YOU!

I called Cover All Painting-Don Hereford after finding him on Angie's List. I was looking for a smaller company that would be good to call on for any job necessary. Well..Let me tell you I made a very wise choice. Don arrived on time for the estimate and gave me a very fair estimate to paint a very large bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom had been converted from a 2 car garage and the ceilings are high and it was not a job I ever wanted to tackle. We scheduled for November 1st at 8:00 am.

Today is November 1, 2011 and at 8:00 am Don and his wife Johnnie were here to do the job. No extra phone calls were necessary Don said he would be here and he was punctual! They moved the furniture into the center of the room and placed drop cloths over every inch of the exposed surfaces. At 8:30 am they began with the painting and at 1:30 pm everything was finished and they were totally cleaned up.

I must tell you that I am 100% thrilled with the beautiful work they did. The room is gorgeous! They painted the walls and the woodwork and there is not one single mistake anywhere! They work very well together and are fast, neat and efficient.

I would highly recommend Cover All Painting. Don is a hard worker and also he sang while he worked which provided extra entertainment. He is a happy guy. I had him give me another estimate to paint a long hallway and guest bathroom and I can't wait to get it done. Way to go..job well done!!

Don was punctual, showed up when he said he would, and completed the work. But the quality of the work was substandard. There were wrinkles and irregularities around the repairs.

Showed up at a convenient time, taped off the area, scraped and sanded the painted popcorn ceilings, patched and painted. Looks Great!

Found Don on Craig's list and have been very pleased with the work. He is extremely punctual and detailed oriented as well as polite. I added projects as he worked since he did a nice job for a fair price. He repaired drywall on the ceiling and the walls where the previous dry waller didn't put enough paste on to have a seamless wall. He will make several visits until the walls are smooth. He also painted the great room (the kitchen/dining/living room). I already am discussing future projects.

I was extremely pleased at the quality of Don's work. He was very particular that every bump or visible spot in the dry wall disappear for the finished product, even though it meant multiple trips to my home to sand, remud, sand, and remud again. He told me that you can't see all the imperfections in drywall until the first coat of paint has been applied. He was punctual, and was faithful to call to discuss when he would be coming to work. His work ethic is outstanding. I can't say enough good things about him. I will definitely be calling him to do more work in my home.
