As room additions go, this was not a complex job.  No plumbing involved.  But they did the job efficiently and effectively.  All the crews involved were first-rate, especially the framers and sheet-rock guys.  Overall, the job took about five months, mostly due to weather conditions.  If we had not had to deal with huge amounts of rain, I think we could have gotten it finished in under three months.  There were NEVER any of those dreaded moments were the contractor tears up the place and then says "Well, I have to go work on this other job right now, so I will be back in a couple of weeks".  He was very responsive when we had concerns/questions.
We had access problems and limited space to work with, so things in the yard were a mess and we always had equipment and materials scattered around, but we anticipated this and so it was not much of a hassle.  All the crews were very respectful of existing plantings and gardens.  After it was all over, they completely cleaned up and re-graded the yard with drainage consideration taken into account.  I went over to Garvins and bought some grass seed and scattered it over the barren yard.  It has now rooted into a new lawn and there are no visible signs of the construction now.  It all looks very organic and unified, and we are loving both the room and the deck.
We felt like we were in good hands with Mr. Butler, start to finish.  Very high comfort level, recommended without hesitation.

Jason and his crew are outstanding. Jason helped design the project, draw it out and find ways to save us money along the way. He is always professional and so is his crew. You never have to be concerned that there will be smoking or cursing or any unaproperate behavior with his company. This is my second project with him and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He always makes things right as well. There were a couple of issues along the way with subcontructers and before I even said anything Jason let me know he was aware of it and would make sure it was taken care of. Most builders just hope you don't notice and keep on going. I appreciate his high standards.

I still love this office, it's the greatest thing about my house! It seems odd to give anyone all-A's, but it's been over ten years now and I still haven't had a bit of trouble out of the construction, and I remember working with them being quite pleasant. Price was excellent as well.

I was glad to find him because I used him within the last 10 years, where he did some major remodeling in my house and construction work. And we were really pleased with what he did then until I lost touch with him. But I went to Craigslist and I kept looking for him and then I found him. The only thing is he's gotten older, his kids are getting older and I'm glad he's still out there because he did a good job.

Do look at other homes builders have completed. Talk to homeowners - not just one but several - because just face it some people are never happy with anything.

Butler builders did an incredible job in quality workmanship and recomending solutions to questions we had. They provided a good estimate, worked with our schedule constraints, employed high quality craftsmen, and provided excellent contractor work to the extensive repairs we needed.
