Lawn Service
I told Bill I wanted him to mow my lawn.
We walked around the house to talk about the lawn.
He wanted me to give him a key to the locked back gate because he did not always know his schedule, due to rain.
I said I was retired, so it was no problem to be here, just please call me and I will unlock the gate.
I said I had dogs and never wanted to worry about them getting out at time of lawn service or later,
if the gate were accidentally left open. 'Oh, I have keys to so many yards and pool houses in this town'
He wanted to clean out the flower beds. I said I just wanted him to mow my lawn.
He said he could clean the flower beds and do this first mowing for $100.
I told Bill I just wanted him to mow my lawn.
We walked back to the front yard to talk about the lawn. I said I wanted the grass clippings for compost.
Bill said I would never be able to lift those 90 lb. bags of grass clippings!
I asked him to deposit all the clippings on the driveway, & I would take care of it.
He did not like that idea.
Bill wanted to trim the shrubbery. I said that I trimmed it in December and would handle it.
Bill said he could do it. I said I was particular about how they were shaped as I didn't like them trimmed straight across the top. Bill said they never trim shrubbery into squares. Bill indicated he would shape the shrubs into circles! I said no thanks, I would not need him to trim the shrubs, that I actually like to trim by hand (it's a small yard).
Then Bill said, 'Oh, you are just like some of those people in ( insert name of a very nice neighborhood, here )!
You can see (their yards) three miles off!! (Unexpected compliment!! ?) Yea, they looked like"s***"!
So Mr. Bill & I had a nice, brief conversation about the benefits of speaking one's mind.
I told Mr. Bill I would not be wanting him to cut my lawn.
I told Mr. Bill good-bye.

Lawn Service
Really impressed by Bill. I reside out of town and text him about going by seeing my property and providing me a monthly quote to service it. The same or next day I had the quote with a fair price. I accepted the price again via text and told him I would send a check. He said fine and serviced the yard long before the check got to him. That really impressed me that he trusted in a text contact before he had the funds. You don't see this much anymore. I really appreciate the trust, promptness, price and service. Thank You!

It doesn't seem to matter, if I need it done he'll figure out how to do it. He's courteous and polite. He's an invaluable person.
