Appalachia Landscaping has maintained our lawn and landscaping for almost five years. They have done an excellent job of maintaining the turf, eliminating weeds, taking care of shrubs and flowering plants, and removing substantial amounts of leaves in the fall. I definitely recommend them.

I never received services so I cannot speak to the quality of service. I an only speak to the lack of professionalism. I was so excited about getting grass back in my yard after a house remodel. I was so excited about having the landscaping done under the backyard trees. It was disappointing to be promised something that never came. But worse no one ever contacted me.

They do very well. Mowing, edge trimming, they will vacuum up grass clippings if that is what you wish. I asked them to use a mulching mower since I prefer to let the grass clippings rot down to fertilize the lawn.

In the fall they will vacuum up leaves also. I have them vacuum up the leaves in their container which also chops them and they pile the chopped leaves at the back of our property so I can use them as mulch in my vegetable beds and in flower beds in the spring.

They will do minor pruning, but I hire a tree service to do tree trimming.

Cost is extra for pruning etc.

Only one drawback. They are not careful with brick edgings. I have a brick edging that is just set in the ground, no concrete and they are always knocking them over. I have to reposition them.

Other than that, they are a very good service. I think their price is good, my old service charged me more per mowing. They generally come once a week if needed.

If special needs are desired such as spring cleanup, that is extra. I have them chop down my grass clumps to 12 inch, and trim down all the Liriope borders. Early spring for this.,

It went very well. They did a good job. Cost wise they are very comparable. The outcome was very favorable. I was very pleased with their services. They are very customer oriented and will use with them on maintenance.

They are supposed to do the yard in the next week or so when they can get to it. I called and he came out and gave an estimate. I wasn't even here when he came so he gave me an estimate over the phone. The estimate seemed reasonable so I decided to go with him. He was good on the phone. He was fine.

We are pleased with them. We have had a contract for four years. They have been very good to talk to if you have a question. They are very open for questions and information. They are dependable and professional. When they sodded our front yard they did a great job. They also carried the old sod to the back and sodded our back yard with it. They went above and beyond.

They are the company that initially sodded our yard but they were recently out for lawn maintenance. We are very pleased with their service. They are always on time.
