The actual moving of furniture went well. They arrived on time. They were careful. We would have been satisfied were it not for the fact that at least one of their men 'ripped us off'. After all of the furniture had been moved from the upstairs, I went up to do something in the 'computer room' (next to the master bedroom). I had been in there for at least two or three minutes when a young man who worked for Anytime Movers came strolling out of the master bedroom wearing his coat with the hood pulled up. I was so shocked to see him come out of there that I just said 'hi' and he mumbled 'hi' back. (One can stuff several 'collectable coins' in a coat.) There was absolutely no reason for him to be in there; all the furniture had already been carried out. He wasn't in the 'bathroom'; he was in the bedroom--alone--for several minutes. There is at least one thief in that company. The owner/supervisor didn't keep an eye on his men; half the time he was downstairs sitting in the kitchen while they were upstairs. I sent a registered letter to the owner; he never even gave me the courtesy of a reply. Bottom line: if someone hires this company, they'd be wise to have all their valuables stored at another house.

It was a family owned business and they were awful. I was very disappointed with them. I don't remember if I found them on Angie's List as I have been through a lot since then. They were walking by holding their pants up with one hand and they wanted to move my furniture but I said no. I even talked to the owner. I called him up and told him that I did not appreciate him sending people like that. I was very unhappy with them. My experience with them was very bad. I spent a lot of time and it was pathetic. I fired them that morning and got another service provider who sent somebody over that afternoon. They did the work that afternoon. They were planning on charging me $89.35 per hour with two hours as the minimum. It was an odd number. Their lack of professionalism, sloppy workers and bad attitude were the reasons that I fired them. I would like to grade them as the worst. I called and talked to the owner myself that morning. I told him that he should have sent somebody that knew how to move the things and not somebody that argued on what I wanted to be moved. He was on his way out of town and there wasn't anything that he could do for me. I told him that there was something that I could do for him and that I would not be having them move anything for me. I bid him good bye and told him to have a nice day. I then told his people that they could leave. I found another service provider that worked out for me as they were wonderful otherwise I would have been stuck.
