I engaged Alabama Lawnmasters in spring 2013 to provide for 7 fertilization and weed control treatments of my front and rear lawns. The treatments were provided, however they did not only fail to control the weeds (with the exception of wild onions) but more than 95% of my
front lawn and 60% of my rear lawn were killed. Alabama Lawnmasters claims that the kill/damage was due to a hard winter, this in spite my centipede grass being the same as my neighbors' lawn which showed no winter damage.
I have been trying to resolve this matter, even filing a complaing with the BBB. I am seeking a refund of my payment of $478.20 for the service and an additional $323.44 for the cost of seed and sod to reestablish my lawn.

They're doing a good job. We're pleased with them. We have a year's contract with them for our community. Their pricing is reasonable. They are very helpful; when they see you out there planting flowers or something they'll come back and help you and that's not part of their job.

Overall we were very impressed with AL Lawn Masters and their team that handled our problem. They were up-front with very reasonable pricing. Many of the people we called wanted to charge us a service fee just to show up and then charge high amounts per hour to do the same work. AL Lawn Masters had a reasonable flat per hour fee and only added on the charges for parts used during their visit. We had the technicians (who remembered our names between days when they worked - this impressed us) look at all the current sprinkler heads and flag the ones that needed to be changed. They then proceeded to explain the situation with the sprinkler valves and why they needed to be changed. After that they did their work very quickly and with good explanation. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and can attest that we are very happy that we choose to go with them for these services. More companies should be prompt, have fair pricing and send nice and knowledgeable people to a job like AL Lawn Masters did with our situation.

The serviceman arrived later than the appointed time, but was very courteous when he got there.

It went very well. I placed my telephone call and the next day the representative came to my house. We talked about my lawn and expectations. This company services my next door neighbor so I already had a good impression. I was given some very helpful hints on 1. trimming the monkey grass down to the ground each year on Presidents day...no one had ever told me how to care for monkey grass and I have been in my home for 3 years and this is my first experience with a monkey grass border. Also I was given some extremely helpful and creative ideas for the part of my backyard that is under the hackberry trees and a grassless area.
I am glad I called this company on my neighbors suggestion and I look forward to them caring for my lawn and making it look heathy and attractive.
So far they came the next day just as they promised and we are on our way.

They did a good job on the trees. They were more expensive than other people, but I like the knowledge of their lawn master gentleman that I spoke to and I get information on which trees are the best in my area. They are very knowledgeable. They actually purchase the trees from a local tree farm and they actually had to take the trees out of the ground, get them acclimated, and then to plant them so they were very beautiful trees when they came in and has done very well, very healthy. They did a good job of installation, little bit slow to respond, but once I got everything going and they were quick to get everything in and completed the job. I have already called them to use them again.

They are good at cleaning up after themselves. It depends on who does the service. I think they are overbooked. They do what they are contracted to do. What they do is well done.

They do our neighborhood and everybody uses them under contract in one neighborhood. They do an excellent job. It is a bigger landscape company. We like that they just show up and do it and 365 days they come and take care of the yard. The prunes, mulch, mow, rake leaves, blow leaves, and do everything. They are contracted to take care of our neighborhood and they do a great job.

A French drain was placed for backyard drainage. The work was done quickly and efficiently. While providing an estimate for the French drain a discussion was held regarding further landscaping for the backyard. Photographs were made and a plan discussed. A second person actually came out and assessed the yard for a plan. Two weeks later a drawn plan was provided and an estimate of $5,000 was given. The plan was approved and we told them we would like to proceed. We were told that they were running behind but a written proposal would be provided within the next week and it would be 2-3 weeks before the work could begin. In addition, there was an issie with one of the pipes in the french drain and i was told that this would be repaired when the landscaping began. Two weeks went by and the proposal had not been delivered. I contacted the company by phone and was told that someone would call me back. No call was received. Two more weeks went by and once again I called, and was told that someone would call me to discuss. I never received a call from anyone. I called a third time and was never contacted. Very poor business practice to never return calls and the work was never provided.

Work was performed professionally and as promised. I was very happy with all aspects of work performed.
Managers reviewed all work performed to ensured customer satisfaction.
All Trash and old shrubs were cleaned up and hauled away.

Just a quick call and they were repaired and the charge was added to my next monthly bill - couldn't have been easier!

The work was very well and efficiently done.
