First let me say that Chip Kerby, the owner of Marbleworks was very responsive from the beginning.  He promptly returned calls and emails and showed a true interest in our business.  He initially gave us a rough estimate from some photos and measurements I sent him.  He then invited us to view slabs of granite at his showroom.  After we selected two or three we liked, he came and did the actual physical measurements and sent me an estimate that night.  The prices were comparable to others in the area, and they (Marbleworks) had a wider variety of unique granite choices. They also offer various gauge stainless sinks in a variety of styles. The company goes above and beyond by purchasing adjacent or bookend slabs at the granite quarry in the event a larger project must be seamed.  Most granite companies do not offer this level of workmanship by trying to get the best match.
I received a call prior to installation to ensure the project was still on.  On the day of installation the workers arrived on time with the appropriate equipment to assist them in lifting the massive slabs.  The work was done professionally, neatly, and without error.  I challenge anyone to detect the one seam in the granite--that's how good they were!!!
Overall, my husband and I were extremely pleased with this experience and I plan to refer friends to them for future jobs.
