Bass Tile and Remodeling

Never received a written quote. Worker showed up whenever they felt like it. Unable to reach owner for more than a month. Shoddy work. horrible grout lines. Never sent a contract. Would definitely recommend no one use this company.

Quoted $3,500 for the job then got into a long, drawn out back and forth with contractor to get work done to specs. Contractor never visited job site after initial visit. Subs broke glass shower door, several 12x24 tiles, improperly installed Ditra underlayment so that tiles actively move, grout cracked, toilet leaked badly after hookup. After sending photo of staggered vertical runs of subway tile to contractor to demonstrate desired installation pattern, sub was halfway up wall with horizontal courses when I looked in and sent a picture to contractor who had to order sub to tear it all down and start over. Contractor aggressive when confronted--do not use unless you are an absolute Tiger Mom or Dad and can go toe to toe with the best!

I never received a written quote from the company and we had a disagreement over the charges. Some of the tiles that were suppose to be smooth were rough. The tile company provided replacement tile and agreed to pay for the labor to replace the bad ones, but Bass Tile wanted me to pay them for the labor and be reimbursed from the tile company. Also one shower wall is not square and the space between the glass door at the top is much larger than at the bottom.

I was somewhat dissatisfied as I could not get the guy that laid the tile to come back. A guy we hired to install the door broke a floor tile. We couldn't get the tile man to come back and install it for us. Home Depot did it as it was their man that broke the tile. They got in a hurry with the work.Tthe paint was not great because they you can see a place where it had dripped. Also, they did not wait until the mud dried for the sheetrock. I would not use them again.
