NewTech Fence

The materials were as discussed, but the installation was not professional.  The installers were friends/family and did not know how to install farm fence in the usual manner (i.e., they didn't build the corners properly and they left the metal fence oles were not buried deep enough.  Also, they left piles of barbed wire (the old fencing)lying in the pasture for several days until they came back to finsih the job; which is a dangerous situation for the animals in the pasture.

Sammy Walker came out and gave me an estimate. He was very courteous and helpful about making suggestions and was not 'pushy'.  The crew came on Friday and installed the posts and came back on Monday and installed the fence.  This is a family run business and all crew were very friendly and if I had a question they were responsive and very courteous. They finished in one day and cleaned up everything. They told me if I had any issue later on just call the office.  I would highly recommend New Tech Fence.  I have it stained now and have had many compliments on it.

Everything went very smoothly from the time Sammy gave me an estimate, I obtained my financing, and they began the work.  They set the posts on Friday and completed the fence on the following Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.   

This was the worst "home improvement" job we've had done in the three years we've been renovating our home. Sammy came and gave us an estimate and agreed to begin work the following Monday. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday came and went and when I finally called him on Friday I got an answering machine. The next week he returned my call (no apology) and said they'd be here on Wednesday; they didn't show up, but on Thursday came by and left some fencing materials (he didn't come to the house to speak to us). To make a long story short, I had to make many, many calls to get the work started and then the same to get them to come and do anything I had to threaten to have someone else finish the job before it was finally completed. This was the most unprofessional group I've ever dealt with!
