Our shower has a single handle; the more you turn it the hotter it gets. It had gotten to where it was either boiling hot or freezing cold, nothing in-between. It needed replaced. Joe Holder was recommended by a friend. Called; received an immediate call-back. Joe came and looked at it, determined that it did need to be replaced and not just repaired. He wanted to know what quality of parts I wanted--something to get by with, mid-level or top-of-the line. I told him I wanted it to last as long as I will. He got the part, came back the next day. To replace the part, he had to remove a large wall-mounted cabinet in the adjoining room, cut the sheet rock out and get at the plumbing in the wall from there. He then repaired the part. So, basically, he made two trips to my house, ran and got the needed parts, took down a cabinet, cut sheet rock, repaired the problem, repaired sheet rock, re-hung cabinet and cleaned up the mess for around $200 bucks. Not a bad deal at all. Best of all, it works great. The parts are better than what I had and you can't tell any work was ever done. Second-best if all? I didn't have to do it.
