It is now two weeks later, and I have not received a return call. Appears that they are ONLY in the diagnostic business!
Appliance Care came out to do a diagnostic on my dishwasher because it ran fine but leaked. Per his diagnostic, he said the water inlet valve was the cause of the leak. He returned to install the part and informed us that it would take a while for the dishwasher to start washing again. He also informed us that a specfic part had to reach a certain level before it starting working again. Per his instruction we left the dishwasher on for an extended period of time; however, I turned it off after I started smelling a burnt scent. I called and informed them that the dishwasher was running but no water was processing through. I contacted them on numerous occasions and had an appt for the technician to return a 3rd time. He called but never stopped by. We paid for the first service call and received another bill for the 2nd service call; however, my dishwasher is still not working.
Appliance Care was recommended to me through Best Buy; therefore, Angie?s list wasn?t checked prior to calling them. After calling I realized that the company was on Angie?s list with an F rating."We did go to the customer's home. We determined the refrigerator had been dropped. I did call and inform Mr. Ashby that the warranty would not cover this. I called Lowe's myself and they said they would not pay the bill. I felt at that time, Lowe's should pay since they delivered it and dropped it. However, if a warranty or contract company does not pay, then it is billed to the customer. We do have to pay our technicians for going out to a customer's home and someone has to pay us."
"We did service the customer. We went out and ordered a valve for the washer. I called her on 08/14/12 at 8:16 and left a VM to call to schedule. She called in on 08/16/12 and scheduled to install. I don't know anything about having to reschedule because the tech couldn't make it out that day, no notes are on the service ticket. I am not saying that didn't happen, but there are no notes and I can't comment on that. We did finish the job on 09/05/12. When we are getting parts for a warranty or contract job, we have to order the parts from where the warranty or contract company tells us to. All we can do is order and then, we are at the mercy of the parts dist. to send the parts. We do try to install parts as soon as we can."
"Due to the fact that this is from 2008 and I had no idea people could get on a website and complain about a company and the company not be notified by mail or e-mail, I can't comment. I have no paperwork from 2008 to look at and see what happened. I don't know why someone would complain on a website when all they had to do was call us and we would have tried to work something out."
