Both roofers recommended by Angi appeared to be professional very responsive when compared to the other roofers I got quotes from. I chose Jim Maxwell which makes him the best of the best. He did a great job! He anticipated all my questions and was flexible on scheduling the installation around my timeline. His employees were professional and hard working. The roof looks great. I should also note that Jim's price was very competitive when compared to the contractors that were less responsive and less professional. James R Maxwell & Associates has my whole-hearted recommendation.

I highly recommend James R. Maxwell & Associates! Mr. Maxwell is very knowledgeable, professional, and holds to the highest standard of quality and ethics. He is better than any builder that we have previously worked with. Mr. Maxwell's associate, Matt, holds to the same standards. Matt initially started repairing multiple fascia, soffit, and other roof repairs. After he started, he noticed other things that should be addressed. Not to upsell, but simply make me aware to help prevent future issues in a home we recently purchased. No pressure at all. After that, Mr. Maxwell came out to assess the additional work and provide a quote. When Matt finished the initial work, he then rebuilt our chimney, fixed multiple window sills, along with several other things. I really appreciated them making me aware of the other issues and educating me on the proper repair process. They are both true professionals who look out for their clients. Lastly, they needed to use a lift to reach the third story on the high side of our roof. The lift left a few ruts in our yard that they assured me would be repaired. During the clean up, they brought in topsoil, broke up and flattened the ruts, spread a thick coat of grass seed, covered with straw, and repaired a sprinkler. The amount of time and effort Matt put into ensuring our yard was repaired properly, was just like the work performed on our home. I was very impressed. We are very appreciative of Mr. Maxwell and Matt. We look forward to doing business with them again!

JRM Associates repaired and replaced our roof in one day and exactly as expected. Mr. Maxwell gave great customer service and explained everything thoroughly. Would recommend them for any roofing job.

Jim and company wouldn't even answer a few simple questions regarding the work order contract they drafted for me. After I asked them these questions, the owner himself told me he no longer wanted to do business with me, that it was "in their best interests not to engage in any business transaction." I simply wanted clarification on their paperwork. Expect the same treatment if you have any questions regarding their contract.

Extremely pleased with the time and effort Mr. Maxwell spent helping me to understand the whole process including insurance issues. His crew arrived promptly and worked very diligently until the job was done. They cleaned up so well you couldn't tell I had a new roof and new gutters. It went very well. They were prompt, cleaned up their mess and did not require payment until the job was finished. Final payment was less than the original estimate. The finished job looks very nice.

I am extremely pleased with Mr Maxwell and his company. I needed vinyl siding for my 31 year old, 2 story house. Mr Maxwell provided me with a detailed estimate and explained everything. His crew was efficient, courteous and did excellent work. I couldn't be happier with the appearance of my home; it doesn't even look like the same house! I will definitely be hiring James R Maxwell and Associates for my next home improvement project

They just needed some roof repairs done and a new chimney cap installed....I find very sad that there are roofing contractors out here trying to take advantage of people. It went great. James had a repairman here within two hours. The man replaced two failed items replaced previously. He then sent painters to paint my bedroom ceiling and insulation in the attic. James stands behind his work.

The job went great.James responded to my first call within ten minutes, came and inspected, gave me an estimate and complete the project. This was accomplished with four to six hours the same day.
