CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN

I hired Mr. Michael Murphy to replace all shingles, tar paper, vents and add ridge vent to house roof. We had an agreement that he would replace the bad wood on the roofs as needed and I would pay for that as the Insurance company would not pay for that and he agreed . He said he had insurance to cover his work. I did not know that he was working under his deceased fathers insurance and he miss led me on that. Anyway I Questioned if he put up new tar paper and he assured me that he had . I had went out and looked and it did not look it to me and another contractor and a man who did roofing said it looked like that it wasn't done. Old paper was still there. Something I cannot prove and don't know how. Anyway a few months later ( about 4 ) I noticed water leaking through my carport roof and I called Mr. Murphy and told him. He said he would come and look. After about 5 calls to him he came to my house and said he would have it taken care of it front of witnesses. A few more months had gone by and another 5-6 phone calls to him and he cussed me and told me where I could go. I had other Construction people there working on my house and they over heard what he said and they shook their heads . One of the Men called him and he cussed him out. I called Mr. Murphy 3 more time for a total of 13-14 phone calls and he cussed me out and swore he would never repair my roof. The wood on the roof of the carport was molding and I had to have it repaired and it cost me $750.00 to replace the bad wood and replace the paper and shingles. Then in 11/2012 the roof on my Garage started leaking and I called Mr. Murphy and he refused to return my called. I called him on a phone that he would not recognize my name and Started talking to him and he cussed me out again and hung up. I am a man living on a limited income with a 9 year old daughter and my wife had passed away. I am 61 years old and I don't know if he is using my age against me or he knows that I do not have the money to sue him. I do know his Mentors had a long talk with him and that he gave his Testimony in Church and swore to change his ways. So I tried to call him again. His ways have not changed. So I still have a leaking roof that is causing mold inside and he Plain does not Care. I have tried to call Mr. Murphy around 11/2013 and again 04/2013 to tell Mr . Murphy that my Garage roof had gotten a leak in it and would he please come out and look. Mr. Murphy on the first call told me under no uncertain terms that he would not come out and look or look under warranty and said a couple choice words and hung up. then I tried to call again 04/2013 and tell him the roof was getting worse and that the wood that I have as a ceiling was leaking worse and getting moldy and ruining my belongings. He would not even accept any of my calls or return any. Mr. Murhpy says that I am trying to SCAM him. that couldn't be farther from the truth. All I want is my roof repaired.
