Fine and I paid the quoted amount until we were called weeks later and said we didn’t pay enough money. I received this call from an older gentleman twice. I assured him I paid what was quoted. That was four years ago.

Great job and great at keeping me updated on the time and dates of service. I fix up homes and he did a much better job than the last company I used. I will use him on the next job. This was the first time I used Angie's List but not the last.

I was told that I would need all new gutters to fix my issue. I was also told that they would replace ALL rotted wood, fascia and soffit. The crew was late coming out, they came unprepared, I was informed that they only replace fascia and not soffit, and the cost went way up from the estimate I was given. Once the work was completed, my issue was not resolved, if anything it has been worse. Just months after install the gutters started falling off in multiple places as well. I called and talked to the owner multiple times, but he made excuses and tried to charge me more to have them fixed. No one ever came out to finish the job or fix what they had installed. I had to pay someone else to have the work fixed and finished. Now Blue River Gutters is sending me collection notices for the remainder that I "owe them" when the work was never completed in the first place. Avoid at all costs!

Work seemed to go quickly and smoothly; however there was no cleanup. Debris removed from the gutters was dropped to the ground and left. Call me old fashion, but I'd rather not have men working on my property bare chested, especially when belly hangs below belt.

This was a special Angie's List deal for $80. I was told the regular price would be at least $250. Someone came out within a few days to do an "estimate" but the cleaning couldn't be scheduled until a month later. Two guys showed up reasonably on time, in an unmarked truck, contrary to Huntsville ordinance, but the guys had on company shirts. They took about 2 hours to do the job. There's been one rain since and it appears that the cleaning was done ok. However, several details were unsatisfactory. First, they used garden hoses for the cleaning and got one of the hoses hung on a gutter corner piece and ripped it loose. They repaired it, but I haven't been able to determine if there's a leak. They also used one of my hoses and broke a control valve I had on the end of it, which they didn't bother to mention. Cleanup of the leaves and trash they blew out of the gutters was the worst, even though I asked them about it twice. They left trash all over the deck in the rear. They did remove most of the trash on the front and sides of the house, but in the rear, in addition to the deck, leaves were left all over the bushes and flowers. All considered I won't do business with Blue River Gutters again.

The young lady showed up on time and gave me an explanation of what was going to be done. We went over what I would expect for them to accomplish and other services they could provide. I am very happy with her and her professionalism. The guys who came to do the work were professional and courteous and the did a great job on my house. I would definitely use them again!

Blue River Gutters exceeded my expectations. My gutters had not been cleaned in several years. I knew that there was shingle dust and leaves from trees obstructing water flowing through the gutters and downspouts around my home. When I saw the offer on Angie's List I thought the price was very reasonable but also had reservations. You know the old saying, you get what you pay for. I'm happy to say that I think I got outstanding value for my money. It rained two days after Blue River cleaned my gutters and the water flowed through the downspouts instead of over the gutter sides for the first time in several years. Thank you, Blue River Gutters.

During the cleaning, my water pipe on the rear water outlet broke. They immediately turned off the main water valve, drove to the nearest hardware store, picked up the required repair parts, returned and completed the repair, making the outside outlet better than before. No complaints, they just got the job completed. While waiting on repair parts, they straightened the gutters so the water would flow better. In my opinion this went above the call of duty.

It was raining on the day we had scheduled, but they came out a day or two later. I was not at home, but in every rain since then, the gutters have behaved themselves nicely, so I am quite pleased.
