A-Electrician

I called the Contractor licensing board in Mongomery, AL and the Electrical board of Alabama. Leonard is not licensed or bonded. He hired a young man with no training or schooling in electrical to wire our home without supervision. It was a mess. When we called the owner to come check his work due to breakers tripping, he refused and said we would have to pay a service call. We've paid him over $8,000 for faulty work.

Family operation that we hired to replace an old fuse box. one thing led to another and he replaced hot water heater with tank-less plumbed/wired it, floored our attic while installing truss system for roof support, and replaced the electrical service.(the roof and attic were a lot of word)... we had bought an old farmhouse outside cullman that is almost 100yrs old. needless to say, it needs some TLC. He cleaned up everyday, everything was in writing up front, no issues of any kind. would not hesitate to hire again. matter of fact, realized I didn't leave review last time looking up his contact information

I used Leonard to ground some plugs for me and install a breaker box to replace old faulty fuse box. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had issues with my hot water heater and it was actually melting my fuses. I was one step away from a fire. You could smell burning wires. He knew exactly what to do. I had a exterior breaker box and an interior fuse box. For the mean time, he moved the load of the hot water heater from the insufficient fuse box to the breaker box and removed the element of impending danger. He also informed me that the guy who installed my hot water heater (a contractor of American Home Shield, whom I loathe and will never use again) did not wire it properly and also he told me the guy installed a bunch of unnecessary pipes just so he could charge me above and beyond what was covered by warranty. But this review isnt about them. Its about Leonard. I asked him how much it would cost for a new breaker box. His price was very reasonable and I hired him.
