Mike Jones started on the porch and would work only sporadically and for partial days. This went on for several months until he stopped coming altogether in Mar '07. He left the porch on partially completed. The center beam for the roof is only a 1"x4" (s/b 2x4 or 2x6) looks like something temporary with the other construction. The roof was left only covered with plywood sheeting and only partially nailed down. The siding that he removed was not replaced. The rock covered posts are falling apart. Everyday I have to re-stack the rocks that the cats knocked off. One of the workers broke my frost free faucet and even though Mike said that he was a master plumber, it was not repaired. When I called one of his references, they told me that he did not like to be questioned or criticized they were not kidding. He got angry with me and spoke poorly of me to my friends. I did not receive the work that was originally discussed nor is the work complete, don't fall victim to him.
