With the work in our home, the walls are not completed properly. I am legally blind and he wanted me to caulk in sheet rock. During the remodeling, he removed a bathtub. When he demolished the bathroom, he let me know he could put a shower in. Now, I have 2 showers and no bathtub. Just two months later after the job was completed, my pool deck started coming apart! I replaced my filter system and they vacuumed 60 pounds of sand from his project. This was also mixed with chemicals he used. I had to replace my filter system from all of the garbage from his faulty pool deck. This also cost me an additional $900. The entire project a total disaster. I learned the hard way. He cuts corners, does the work as quickly as possible, and will ask you for your money up-front. He never gave me a receipt when the work was completed or for the materials I purchased for the pool! He never even made me sign a contract for the remodeling for the home.
Description of Work: He charged us $8,450 to "glamorize" the pool and it looks horrible. He also layed a sidewalk. He mentioned he could do any repairs to the pool deck. He also did remodeling in our house and that total was $15,850 for both projects. The pool work started in September of 2009 and the work was completed on May 2010.
