+ 0 moreCompany knew the amount of insurance company settlement. We chose inexpensive tile to offset some cost. Cabinets were approved for replacement from insurance but not replaced (we thought this was ok it would save us money). Company refused to give itemized bill just gave a bill for entire insurance settlement with no documentation.Refused to list materials used and charges for them. A letter of complaint and threats of sending the letter to insurance agents finally caused them to lower their demands. Also threatened obtaining an attorney. Still think we were overcharged but settled to be done with it. Be careful when contractor works closely with an insurance adjuster. Accept the insurance company's contractor recommendation with caution. Make sure you get several estimates.
Description of Work: Replaced kitchen and dining room tile floor. Cabinet repair and countertop replacement.
