Contractor arrived on time as promised and was very fast and cleaned up afterwards very nicely. The Installation crew was not quite as professional as others I've had, like Garrison and Garrison, who I had last year do the exact same work on the other American Standard unit in my house. They sort of rushed through their work. I wished that the chief installer had stayed arround a little longer to make sure the unit blower speed and cycle time was optimal, given that this unit is more efficient than the old one. The XL15i is a very good efficient unit.
I decided to upgrade my dead units from American Standard to Trane due to a longer warranty, 12 yrs on Trane versus 10 yrs on American Standard and that Trane units have a cover over the top of them which keeps leaves and other debris from falling in them. I might have stayed with Garrison and Garrison but something went wrong with their sales agreement with the local Trane distributor.

I had a problem with my ductwork. One of my outside cats was getting in and I called Corbins to come find where the hole in the ductwork was at that she was getting into. They sent a guy out and told me that he wasn't able to crawl far enough under the house to find the hole but that the cats had torn all of the insulation off of the ductwork. He told me that Brad would call me the next day to tell me what we should do and the cost of the job but he felt like he would suggest reinsulating and ductwork cleaning. It is working on two weeks and have not heard from him. Truly disappointing. I realize I could call him, but if they don't want my business enough to even follow up then I guess I would rather just go with someone else. But charged me $79 and really told me nothing.

We were very please with all aspects of the service that we received. Mr. Corbin gave us a lot of attention at the initial meeting, understood our concerns and suggested multiple options to pursue to improve our indoor air quality. While researching other companies (second opinions and options) Mr. Corbin kept in touch and showed that he valued our service and wanted to help correct our problems. Ultimately we decided to go with Corbin's to replace one of our HVAC units completely, replace some duct work and fix issues that existed with our other HVAC unit (not properly installed by another company). The staff worked hard to get the job done with quality but also worked quickly. The mess was kept to a minimum and Mr. Corbin was very responsive to any questions or
concerns that we had. Overall we could not be happier with our decision and we will continue to use Corbin's to service our HVAC units to keep them in optimal shape.

They do a great job. Their staff is knowledgeable and they do great work. We are very satisfied with the service we receive from this company.
