This was my 3rd visit over several years. 1st visit around 5 years ago. 4 wheel alignment. Very good job. 2nd visit around 4 years ago. Directional signals not working. Directional's worked for 2 days after repairs. Could get nowhere trying to get them to even look at the problem again. After a couple tries, gave up. A friend and I pulled covers off steering column and found wiring harness to new directional switch installed by Gulf Shores Ser ctr, not properly latched. There are 2 latching ears on either side. One was connected, the other not. After properly latching, I had no further problems. To make matters worse, there was grease on the cloth seats. They did clean the grease off with Naphtha
I would not have gone back for a third visit except for the 2 good reviews here on Angie's list. I will not go back a 4th time.
I went in for front brake pads and to have the rotors turned. That part seems to be good, although I did not crawl under or take a wheel off to check. The problem was grease and some sort of spray cleaner/grease/?? a number of places on the interior.
When I left the premises, I noticed some dirt/grease on passenger seat and thought I'll clean that off when I get home. Well when I got home, my wife was in a hurry to use the car and I forgot about it. When my wife returned, she was fuming. There was grease/dirt/spray all over the driver's seat, even on the sides, the passenger seat, driver's door panel,carpet and the console. I should have returned to GSSS right then but attempted cleaning it myself. It was very difficult to remove and whatever it was took the paint off the console. At this point I did return and Mark, the owner, apologized and said I should have brought it back. He was correct, I should have. He said he would look into a replacement part for the console but has not contacted me in several weeks. We keep a small basket on the floor in front of the console. I later found my sunglasses sprayed with whatever they were using and ruined. There was spray all over the basket and the things in it.
Mechanically their work may be good but the grease on the interior was most certainly not.

It was an intermittent problem that did not show the usual starter symptoms. Took a couple of tries but they fixed it.

I've done a lot of business with them. I would give them all A's.
