I hired this contractor to install a wood privacy fence around my backyard. He and his team did a terrible job. Some of the pickets were not even nailed in and my gate started leaning within the first 2 days. I also started to notice other things that were done wrong like they did not use a level to install the pickets so some of them are not vertical as they should be. I reached out to him several times to get him to come back out to repair the fence before he returned to take a look. He said he would be back to replace the fence but has never shown up and is now not returning my calls. I would not recommend hiring this contractor.

I wish they would not build composite decks the same way they build wooden decks. Given the time and quote though, the job they did was adequate. Whoever on the crew who smoked, left cigarette butts in the area. Some wood scraps remained on the ground in the work area. A picture-framed deck would have looked much better around the edges, especially the ends of the boards. I was able to find that technique on YouTube, and I wish Jeff would have seen how to do that technique. Also, the composite deck clips would have been much nicer than the hundreds of screws that went right through the composite deck boards. Not sure if that did anything to the waterproof quality of each deck board.

I needed a fence as soon as possible due to neighborhood dogs and within a week he was out there building and had it done in 2 days! Would definitely recommend to everyone! The fence and work is great quality and my dogs approve to!

Jeff, at Martin Services is a great deck builder. Very professional from our first meeting to the last day on the job. Jeff is very creative! He designed my deck, patio and remade a section of old fence. He designed my deck by listening to what I wanted. I don’t know how to organize outdoor spaces, so he listened and designed a great concept! He communicates when he is coming to work and follows through and really comes. I had a concrete pad that was laid by another business and long story short, it was placed in the wrong spot. So on day one, Jeff had to redesign our original plan. And again, he did not disappoint with creative problem solving! He never told me “that won’t work”. He always continue to find a way to do what I wanted by modifying my wants with the engineering and code requirements. I truly appreciate the effort that went into the deck to make my vision come to life. Plus!!! He also stayed on budget which is so important. His crew is respectful and kind. I always felt safe. They cleaned up at the end of everyday. And on the last day, they even stacked up the short pieces of decking that I wanted to use for projects. Speaking of short boards. Jeff designs the deck so that there is very little waste! Almost all the money you spend in product, goes into the size of the deck! If we need anymore work in the future, we will be calling Martin Services first.

We are so, so happy with out new deck. Everything about working with Brenda and Jeff was so smooth and easy. They communicated well, they showed up when they said they would both for an estimate and for the work, and they were a family that works very well together. Everything about our new deck is of excellent quality, but we're especially happy with the steps (low and wide) they put in, which were a vast improvement over the ones that were existing. They also left everything very clean. Except for having a new deck, it's like they weren't even there. We liked their work so much, we're having them come back to work on another deck that has a few issues. We highly recommend them.

I can not speak high enough of this entire company. Working with Brenda and Jeff has been such an easy process. Jeff went above and beyond by adding a last minute detail to my deck. Their entire crew was pleasant and hard working. I've already spoke to them about several other projects I need done.

It is rare in this day and age to work with a company who values a 'job done right'. Martin Services is a family business who cares about the work they do, and it shows. We could not be more pleased with the quality of work and the integrity of the finished job. They certainly did provide a 'job done right'! We are thrilled with the new fence they crafted for our home!

I enjoyed working with these guys, I have zero complaints and I was really impressed with the final deck. I like the new deck much better than the old deck. These guys work really hard and they left the job very clean. They were careful not to let my dog out as they came and went and they were patient with my small children. I plan on hiring them for the next project.

I asked for a detailed estimate and got one. Material, labor, and tax. Asked two others for a detailed estimate and I got a quantity of 1 and a price. They were the lowest price too. They were pleasant professional gentlemen. They arrived on time and cleaned the work area at days end.

We had Martin Services add a screen enclosure to our back porch. Jeff Martin responded quickly to give us a detailed and fair estimate for the job. He did a great job communicating with us during the project, letting us know next steps, and promptly responding to any questions. When we had delay due to bad weather, Jeff and his workers came to work on our project over the weekend, which was over and above our expectations. We are very happy with the final results.

Excellent service, reliable, showed up on time and built a rail to go around my porch. Professional quality at a reasonable price. Both men were professional and polite and paid attention to every detail. They listened to what I wanted and then they did it. It is exactly what I wanted. Quality of work is excellent. Cleaned up everything when they were finished. Jeff is easy to talk to and he gave me suggestions for paint and caring of my new rail. Very helpful. I would definitely hire him again.

Jeff makes good suggestions and is very experienced in building with wood and is willing to try something different. He is on time, very nice. He rebuilt a falling down fence gate, built a ramp in our garage, installed a grab bar in the bathroom, repaired 2 door frames.

Owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and clear with his communication. He let me know when he was coming and leaving or if they would be late, which is something hard to get with contractors lately. He was very upfront with his pricing. I had many contractors give me estimates on my deck replacement project and he was the only one that gave an itemized estimate with clear options and associated labor costs. After choosing his company he made an appointment with us to go over the job details, transactions, and set our start date. I have already asked him to work on another project for me. I was most impressed with his customer service which is something many other companies don't seem to care about anymore.

Martin Services did an excellent job enclosing my hallway with doors and archways. They were friendly and knowledgeable and the job looks great. Quick to respond with clear and professional communication. Would definitely recommend and use again.
