Brandon was very professional and did an excellent job tuning our very out of tune piano. He even repaired a couple of places on the piano that had been damaged in the move to our house. Grateful for his attention to detail and look forward to having him out to tune again next time,

Brandon arrived as scheduled and tuned my piano. He has been tuning it for the past five or six years and I've always found his work to be commendable. The first year he tuned my piano, he had to do some extensive repair due to my neglect and I was very pleased with the piano afterward.

Recently my family and I decided to look into having our over 110-year-old Steinway grand piano tuned and serviced. Living near Carbon Hill, we thought this might be a nearly impossible task. We hoped to find someone familiar with Steinways, as well as someone willing to travel to a remote location. After searching the Internet and reading many reviews, we chose Robertson Piano for the job, and we are genuinely glad we did. Brandon checked over the piano and provided us with his professional assessment as to what the piano needed first as a priority, and then he advised us on what we might want to consider in the future regarding a full restoration. We decided to go with the full service appointment and deep cleaning. It had been quite a while since any work had been done on the piano, but Brandon brought it back to life. With the proper tuning adjustments and regulation, lubrication, voicing, and a deep cleaning, the rich, full sound and key action is back again! He even made some minor repairs and advised us on a plan to repair a foot pedal and to have the ivories replaced on the keys. Brandon's knowledge and attention to detail is awesome, and the charge for his expert services was very reasonable. The website's online self-scheduling feature and automated reminders were also very helpful to us in setting up a convenient appointment. Though it may be a little while before we can afford to do a full restoration, we certainly look forward to a long-term relationship with Robertson Piano in maintaining our Steinway. We really couldn't have asked for a better job!

Tuning our piano went great. We used the online scheduler to schedule the appt. and everything was really clear....cost, how long it would take, etc. Brandon came on time and worked diligently for nearly 6 hours. The outcome was great! The piano was flat and kind of dirty, really, and now it is shiny and sounds great!

It went well. I know nothing about pianos, tuning, or music in general but based on the noise and the time taken to correct the sound it went well. Brandon was timely, professional, kind, knowledgeable, and most importantly I trust the work he did based on how he presents himself and how wonderful his previous reviews are. We will definitely be using him again in the future.

Mr. Robertson was most professional, found some issues I didn't know about, and corrected these for no extra charge. My piano now sounds incredibly bright with those rich deep tones I didn't know were possible. As a bonus, after signing up online, I received a few advance reminders via email about my upcoming service. That was very much appreciated and helpful!

He was very considerate in that he texted to let me know he was running 5-10 minutes late and he also took his shoes off when he came in (it had been raining). Brandon was very professional and easy to work with. Part of mine was an insurance claim and he was able to separate his estimate into 2 parts. I am using him again to do refinishing work soon on the piano wood itself. Update: I hired Brandon a 2nd time to come out and refinish the same piano (on 12/4/2015). I was very encouraged by the professionalism shown by Brandon. He was on time and very nice. He even took the time to answer any questions and teach my daughter some of the techniques he was using. He also explained in detail everything he did and asked me if i was satisfied with his work once he finished. I highly recommend Robertson Piano Tuning. I know if there is ever an issue with my piano, he will fix it to my satisfaction!

I scheduled a tuning with Robertson Piano for a 30-year-old Baldwin studio piano that hadn't been tuned in at least ten years. In addition, I had quite a few keys sticking. Brandon Robertson called shortly before the appointment time and said he was running about five minutes late, which I found very thoughtful. Not many would call for five minutes. And he really was only five minutes late! He took his shoes off before coming in, which wasn't necessary, but another thoughtful act. He went over the piano in detail and made several recommendations beyond the tuning, including replacing two broken strings in the higher register that I wasn't aware of. He made a detailed list, with estimates, of everything he recommended and sent it to me via email, which I appreciated. That would give me the opportunity to go over it in detail at my leisure and not have a paper copy to keep up with. He then tuned it and made some adjustments for the sticking keys. After he left, I sat down to play and was amazed at how much better it sounded...except now when I hit a bad note, I know it's my fault and not the out-of-tune piano! He was a very personable young man and I look forward to working with him again. I plan to follow up with him on some of his recommendations and look forward to working with Robertson Piano for regular maintenance and tuning.

He was on time, took his shoes off at the door, and went about his business very methodically. He did a very good job, gave us excellent advice about our piano, and was very personable. We will use him in the future to do some additional work on our piano.
