"In summer of 2012 the membercalled us to do a $75. tune up on her AC side of her hvac system which did not effect the heat. $75. tune up includes cleaning outdoor coil, recording amp draws and proper voltage, and objects blocking airflow throw outdoor unit, check electrical connections, measure air flow, check air temp. differences return and supply, basically an overall look at her AC unit. When we arrived she had an over 30 year old Chrysler corporation outdoor unit and evaporator coil. The compressor would not run and she did not want to try to fix it so at that time we quoted her replacing ac side of her system. She paid the $75. which was better than a $85 service call because it was considered a broke unit. After giving her an estimate we told her information about financing and left. She did have a nearly 7 year old gas furnace but we did no work to the furnace while we was there. We honor our service call for 30 days. She called back in October which was past 30 days and her heat would not work. We came to her house and done a diagnosis and her old Mercury thermostat was bad probably almost as old as the AC unit. I quoted her to replace the thermostat with a digital thermostat with a lifetime warranty for $118. plus the service call which is $85. a total of $203. she said she couldn't afford it and she said she had a Home Depot gift card and she would buy one put one up herself . I went through a brief explanation to her of how to change the thermostat to help her out. We did the best we could to help her. we cant work for free and stay in business. We treat every customer fair and do them right.we also do not put alot of pressure on people to buy things. Bryant's Heating & Cooling Jesse Bryant"
