Dr. Dykes did a fabulous job on our dog's ear crop.  When we picked him up the day after the surgery, he was in great spirits.  We sent a picture of our dog to our breeder and she was in love with the artistic job that Dr. Dykes did - as were we.  We gave him very little information or preferences to go off of, but he took into consideration the dog's shape of his face and body style and did a fabulous (manual) job with his medium length crop.  Our dog's stitches were healed after 10 days and we then returned to have the ears posted.  Dr. did a great job with the posting as well and maintained great patience with us, reposting twice in the week as our dog did everything in his power to get the posts out.  We are THRILLED with the end result and the service that we had along the way as well.

We have been going to Dykes Veterinary Clinic for more than 20 years and love all three vets there with him. We rarely see Dr. Dykes because he is the resident vet for Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo. They doctors there are awesome. They treat you like family. The doctors are very thorough and open to any ideas I have, because I like the holistic approach. I have used them and will continue to use them and would recommend them all highly.

They are wonderful. I have two dogs and five cats. The price is very reasonable. The people are very knowledgeable and caring. They have four vets. So there is always someone there to see our animals. Everyone that works there is very professional and nice. Their customer service is excellent.

I have never had a bad experience with Dykes Veterinary Clinic. From the moment you come into the office to the time you leave they are always kind, friendly and loving to the animals.They know our furry babies are part of the family and they treat them as such.

They have about three or four Veterinarians on service there and they are all very competent.

I really like Dr. David Dykes office, they have three or four vets there and they are all very good, nice and conscientious.

It has been some time since I used Dr. Dykes, but that is because I have moved away from the immediate area. My dog, Newman, was a patient of Dykes for several years. He was a basset hound and had lots of issues with his ears, teeth, skin, eyes, plus your regular check-ups. The center was great. Employees in the front area were courteous and knowledgable. Dr. Dykes always put me at ease with his calm demeanor, and gave thoughtful comments to my questions about Newman. Later, when he joined with another vet, Newman saw her. I cannot remember her name, but she was also professional and pleasant. The fees were not remarkable one way or another. Likely, it was the average rate. I do remember the teeth cleaning being $65.00 since they had to sedate Newman. It was quite a job.

He has a very nice way with the animals. In my experience he's very thorough with whatever he has to do with your pet. I haven't had a serious situation just an annual visit for my cats. He looks over the records. He's very careful. He's very reasonably priced. He acts like you're the only one there even if there are 20 people in the office. He doesn't rush you at all.

He is great. He loves animals and cares about them very much. I am very pleased with the service and I would recommend them to anyone. They are very professional and the employees are compassionate as well.
