Asked Nathan to see if car needed any front end repair work. It is my granddaughters car. Everyone knows that open ended question is a mechanics dream. (unscrupulous mechanics).
My granddaughters "Mechanic" said she needed new struts. Cost $980.00 dollars. I told her it pays to "SHOP" around. Found Doering Tire on Angies list. I have used it many times. Never been sorry. My granddaughter now has a mechanic she can "TRUST"(NATHAN) and I peace of mind for her car issues.

Doering Tire did a great job for a good price. My car had the McPherson Struts and bushings replaced. When I picked up the car I discovered a clunking sound and the mechanic went for a test drive with me and found a nut left lose. He promptly tightened everything up and I was very satisfied.
I had them mount, balance, and rotate tires also and they were prompt and professional. I always watch to see if the lug nuts are started by hand to prevent crossthreading and if a torque wrench is used to perform the final lugnut tightening. If an airwrench is all that is used then I wont be returning. They did everything as I expected.

It went great. They gave me an estimate for the job, then, when they got into it and spotted another problem, called me to get my approval for adding on the additional repair before proceeding, but still got the car returned to me on time. Doering's has worked on cars for my husband's family for many years, but this was my first experiene and a good one. A couple of months later, I asked for their advice on where to get a small engine repaired, and they said they'd be glad to take a look and fix it if it was fixable. Again, they gave me an estimate before doing the work, and returned it to me in a timely way, explaining what problems they'd found and what they'd done about it. I don't think such repair is part of their usual work, but I was glad to have it done by someone with whom I'd had a previous good experience.
