I just did that above. So far, lousy. If the job is completed to my satisfaction, I will pay them in full.
Description of Work: They were hired to replace a flat roof on our house with duro-last. We had agreed on a price of almost 16,000.00. They came back wanting more money ahead, but they had not completed the dormers as was promised. They were to be more labor intensive, so they stonewalled. They had told me the dormers would be no problem. The dormers are a crucial part.. So, I told them I would not pay them anymore until they finished the job. It's their responsibility to take care of this. I have just reported them to the BBB. I have a friend who volunteered his time to monitor the roof job. He is a college graduate in engineering and owns his own company, Numatic Concrete and manages many men. His name is readily available. He agreed that I should not pay them.
