Greenhouse and Nursery Service
This is a Mom and Pop operation that is an excellent source for roses and personal service. I recently retired, relocated to Fairhope AL and downsized to a cottage that cried out for a cottage garden. I knew nothing about roses except that they are the mainstay of a cottage garden, especially on a trellis over a walkway. After doing a lot of research on-line, a friend suggested I go to Taylor's Roses. Little did I know that the best source of roses and "hand-holding" for novice rose growers was only one street over from my house. They have well-established roses appropriate for this area that can be purchased in $15 and $30 pots.... and, all the information you can absorb for free. Call ahead to make sure what day and time the Taylor's will be at their "rose patch" and plan to spend some time sitting under the shade of a large oak tree getting advice and encouragement from this delightful and knowledgeable couple.
