Jim Rillo did an EXCELLENT job sodding my lawn last year. But the lawn maintenance he provides is inconsistent at best. Three times now, over the course of last summer and so far this summer, I have come home on the day the lawn has been cut to find it cut in alternating strips - one strip about 1" longer than the other. I have heard different excuses each time - a flat tire on the mower, the deck uneven. Those would account for the first couple of strips, but once the person on the mower sees the uneven cuts, FIX THE PROBLEM! The whole yard was cut like this when it happened, not just part. Another time, they ran over a temporary pet fence, and just recently, they ran into the support post for my new fence gate, bending the hinge. Note that they never say anything until I discover the issue and call about it. Other workers that I have used have mentioned to me that the yard service show no concern about doing the job well, just wanting to complete the job as quickly as possible.
