"I sincerely apologize for that Josh. I?m in the Army National Guard and we had a three day drill that started on Friday. I booked our appointment in error for Friday but I was completely out of pocket at Eglin AFB in an area with no cell phone service. It was my fault and I do apologize for wasting your time sir."

"Genie, I'm sorry you feel this way. Your rating has caught me off guard as I had no idea you felt this way. You were always nice and polite over the course of the project and my understanding was you were happy with the way your deck turned out. To be fair - I'd like to address some of your negative comments. "Only worked 4 hours a day." Thats true, we had multiple projects going and it was the very hottest part of the summer. But we did meet your original stated finish date - which I planned for. We worked over the weekend to complete your deck so it would be ready for your party that following Monday. "Leaving me no back exit." We made special accommodations by putting down deck boards at the end of each day so you and your dogs could exit your back door. Then we would take them up the next day to work. Im not sure what else could be done on a back deck replacement beyond using a different door to exit. "Not prepared for the project i. e. late ordering the lumber etc." Lumber was ordered on time - the wrong deck boards were sent from the lumber yard (1x6's vs 5/4x6 deckboards). That was out of my control but they did get the correct boards to us. It set the project back one day. As stated, we worked over the weekend to complete your project on time. You went against our advice and ordered the wrong handrails (routered for 2x2s) and the wrong spindles (1x1s, all angle cut) - which you insisted on using - creating extra labor on our part that I did not charge for. "I would never hire this company again. Very inexperienced." Again Im sorry you feel this way. I felt like we worked hard for you and were very accommodating, polite, professional. We met your stated objectives and deadlines. Your deck turned out very nice and is built to exceed the International Residential Code standards. I feel like a 2 out of 5 stars on Quality is very harsh. I have pictures posted on my company facebook page if anyone would like to see it. Please call me if you would like to discuss further. Its important to me that you are happy. Walter Dunlap 251.979.8441"
