Hired Day's Home Improvement to do some light remodeling in a condo we bought in Gulf Shores. Project included installing new LVT flooring, building out an owner's closet, replacing toliets and painting throughout. They gave a fair estimate, communicated throughout the process--which was key since I own from out of state--and showed up when they said they would. I would definitely recommend and would hire them again.

He is a nice person, He came to diagnose to the house and give me estimate. He was year yesterday to check up on the project. What he did for me makes me happy.

The work was excellent, the workers were very, very nice and polite, they were nice to work with. I have hired them several times, this is actually the 5th work that they did for me, all the time they were excellent, couldn't be better.

We had 2 houses damaged by Hurricane Sally on the Gulf Coast and Lee Day, and his team from Day's Home Improvement were quick to give us and estimate and got started on the day he promised. Their work is excellent, they are good communicators and true professionals. We will continue to use Day's Home Improvement for our home repairs, remodels and enhancements. We strongly recommend them!

Day's Home Improvement performed a wide variety of home improvements for our home in Fairhope, AL. The entire house was painted, walls, ceiling, trim and kitchen cabinets. Day's provided High quality workmanship at a fair price. The work was completed on time. Days removed and replaced several interior doors. The front door and windows were completely re-finished/ stained and looked beautiful. Our house showed like a newly constructed home allowing our property to be marketed and under contract in less than a week. The workers were polite, skilled and respectful. All around good people. I would highly recommend Day's Home Improvement for any remodeling and painting jobs in Baldwin County / Mobile.

We were extremely pleased with all of the projects Lee’s team did for us. They completely remodeled a master bathroom, added a laundry room, and built shelves for a pantry. All of his employees and sub-contractors were reliable, considerate, punctual, and cleaned up after themselves. Specifically the sheet rockers, painters, carpenters, and tilers did beautiful, detailed work. Our project was completed even quicker than we anticipated, and Lee stayed on budget. I got numerous quotes, but Lee was the most reasonable and had excellent communication. He was always available when we had questions. We would highly recommend this company!

Day’s Home Improvements did a great job getting my rental unit ready for occupancy. The previous tenants where an eviction and they had caused some light damages to the walls and paint. The dark paint colors were difficult to cover but Day’s Home Improvements did a fantastic job returning the unit to a rentable condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody needing painting of refurbishment. I will definitely use there services again.

I hired Lee Day and team to paint the interior of my 1900 sq ft. 10 year old house and all 21 doors in the house and the walls of the garage. This is a house I am preparing to sell and wanted to get this job started quickly. Lee was able to schedule the job within a week of my request although the rain may have helped since his crew could not work on exterior jobs with the rain. Never the less, they got the job done quickly and my realtor has informed me it looks beautiful. Lee was great to work with giving me a fair estimate and was always quick to respond with a text when I had questions. They also tore out and disposed of the carpeting as I am having it replaced and replaced a closet door. I recommend using Day's Home Improvement. Photos are prior to carpet installation

Wonderful. My house looks great inside and outside. I'm very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, promptness, skill and meticulous care taken by Lee Day and his entire team to do everything beautifully. The quality of work is excellent.

Fantastic, my wife and I are extremely satisfied customer! In the picture below, you see the lighting and fans installed, slightly dimmed, the custom media center that replaced the old gas logs and new ceiling and wall paints, and the sheet rock work to remove the fake fireplace.

I cannot say enough good things about Lee Day and his painting crew! I had a very short time window of two weeks to complete the painting and other repairs prior to putting my house on the market. Mr. Day accommodated my schedule, and actually his crew finished everything four days prior to my deadline. The crew was timely, very professional and attentive to my questions and requests. Because of the color changes within my house, everything required two coats to ensure coverage of the old, darker colors. Everything looks wonderful, and I am very happy to recommend Mr. Day and his team to anyone seeking a first class painting/repair experience!

I had a list of 8 or 9 things that I wanted done and had a really tight time frame to get it done in.  The work crew was onsite by 7:00 each morning and completed all items on the list in 5 days!   The interior painting was actually an add-on (I had planned to do myself but just didn't have time).  Additional guys were brought in to get this done!
I could not have been more pleased and would definitely recommend Lee and his crew to anyone!

Very pleased with the quality of the work.  It has been seven months since the work was completed and we have not seen any problems with the paintwork.  The workers were very professional, and helped us make decisions on what parts of the trim would be best painted one color as opposed to the second color.  (There were some areas we weren't sure should be painted which color.)  They also prioritized their work so well, they finished with time to spare and willingly tackled another project we hadn't discussed within the original scope of work.  They did as much as they could with the gazebo (the last-minute addition), but the foreman pointed out an area on the top section which had a rotten board.  They didn't have the extra supplies on hand to fix it, so at my request, he contacted the owner to have him arrange to do an estimate on it and some other work we were interested in having done.  The owner made several appointments to come out to do the estimate; but he would either forget to come or would call to say he was too busy and could we make another appointment?  After several tries, we gave up.  That's the only reason for the "B" in responsiveness: we couldn't get him to come out so he could do some more work for us!

Mr. Day showed up promptly to look at the repairs I needed.  After agreeing on an estimate, his crew showed up promptly the next morning and got straight to work.  Everything was done in 2 days time, without any problems.  Very pleased with the work and would hire again!

Had to get them to come back twice, after the work was done, to smooth out the walls so that they looked good.

After I FIRED Lowes and got a refund on the labor and installation, I called Lee and even though he was on vacation, my call was answered the first time and he arranged for a man to come and start the job that very day!  Lee and the installer (Jim Bob) saved the day!  Jim Bob's team was fast, pleasant, and thoroughly professional.  A pleasure to work with!  Lowes needs to never send boys to do a man's job ;)
