About us
Cutting Edge Construction is a Home Performance Contractor offering Design/Build and Energy Auditor Services for new and existing homes. Under the name of Edgerly Homes we provided design build services for more than 100 new homes since 1993, and we performed remodeling and renovations for numerous others. In 2008 and 2009 we earned certification as Green Builders and B.P.I. Building Analysts and since that time we have been providing design build services for new homes with emphasis on energy efficiency. Through our energy auditor services we have analyzed the energy efficiency of numerous existing homes, and have also provided recommendations and cost estimates to implement the recommended energy efficiency measures. Under the banner of Cutting Edge Construction we have combined our experiences as home builders and remodeling contractors with our “cutting edge” expertise in energy efficiency of design build techniques.

Being a small, Brian and James are there at every step of the building process. We do not take on more work than we can see to ourselves. In many instances we are hands-on especially during the critical building layout and foundation work, and the finish carpentry and final detailing. We often perform our own final grading and landscaping. In other words we love the process and the work involved in building your home and we get our hands dirty in the process., customer oriented builder
