Affordable Plumbing Sewer & Drain

We hired affordable plumbing to get ripped off. The technician his name is Joseph was sent to our home and he told us the sewer pipe collapsed but to find out he broke the pipe. Joseph the technician that came out gave us false informaton and charged us 1200 to dig a hole and placing a camara in the pipes to see where the problem was coming from. To find out he took a picture from where he broke the pipe with his phone. He never showed us a actual live camera footage of the flow. Then what topped it off was he wanted us to pay him 11000 dollar to fix where the blockage was on the city but didnt tell us. We had to call the city to let them know we think the blockage is on there city side. When the city came out they told us differently what Joseph the technician told us. Yall dont use this company they are breaking things to charge you a higher price to fix. Its not over they will pay for this. We have reached out them but they have not reached back out to me.

Provider was contacted to fix leaking bath tub faucet. and was advised before making appointment that it needed to be replaced.  Even though this was a severe leak - provide was unavailable for two days.  Plumber arrived on time, assessed situation and stated he did not have time to replace the faucet today.  All he could do was try to fix it temporarily until a replacement could be scheduled at a later date.  After two days wait - the owner was stuck.  Quoted price of ~600 to repair leak in plumbing behind wall and repair faucet.  After attempting to fix the tub faucet, plumber admitted that he did not have proper tools and repair would most likely fail.  Sure enough - it failed in less than five minutes.  At that point, plumber said he could not repair the tub today and was going to leave the owner with a 1 GPM leak in the bathroom.  Finally - after going outside to "talk with home ofice" told me he would fix and total price would be ~1200.   As was totally stuck at almost 3PM and having had to wait two days, had no choice but to complete the repair.  He tried to make me feel better stating he "could not leave the faucet that way" and would do the replacement now.  And also - since I did not have to have them come back I saved a service charge. 
This company is unresponsive and way to expensive.  Frankly - unethical to charge for failed repair.  And alot of time was totally wasted trying to fix something that needed to be replaced.  No on should have to pay for a failed repair, particularly when the repair requested was replacement.  Also - promised followup for further work estimate requested at time was never provided.  Provider warranties their work but I guess failed repairs don't come under the warranty.
I have to say the plumber was nice enough.  He is just an employee trying to do a good job.  Problem has to be with office / company management.. 

Plumber arrived as promised.  He tried to locate the sewage line outside, but was not successful.  He used his vacuum to remove water from toilet, removed same, used his auger to clean out a few roots and replaced toilet.

When I asked how much it would approximately cost, I was told around $275, but it could be more.

The bill ended up being $456.00 I guess they charge by the auger-foot? After one month I had another company perform the same operation, they dug up the sewer line, cleaned it out, repaired the hole and spent three times as much time and hard work to help us and the bill was considerably lower.

Affordable, no.

I set up the appointment because my garbage disposal kept clicking off. I also had a drip in the drain of a bar sink that I asked to have fixed at the same time. Tony was the technician who was sent by Affordable Plumbing. He did a fast job of finding what the disposal's problem was and then fixed the sink. Then he mentioned that the tankless hot water heater probably needed to be flushed out and he might have the supplies to do so on his truck. He said that the cost was $249 but he would give me a $20 discounts because he was already here. I told him that it had been done last summer by Baldwin Heat and Air and he told me that it should be done annually so I asked him to go ahead and flush it if he had the supplies.
After finishing, he gave me his bill of $417 which was not itemized other than showing $79 as the service call and $338 as the total 'repair investment'. I have no idea what the breakdown was but after he left, I pulled out the bill from Baldwin Heat and Air for their service call to flush the water heater and the total charge was $120. Tony stated that he had given me a $40 discount so I assume that he would have charged $457 without his discount.
The garbage disposal probably took 10 minutes maximum to fix and the sink even less.
I am sure that Tony and Affordable Plumbing are good at their work but I felt as if I had been robbed after looking at how Baldwin Heat and Air charged less than half for the same service.

I have been using Affordable Plumbing for over 10 years. They are honest, punctual and professional!

This last time out, my contractor had them cut off water hoses to 2 bathroom sinks so he could remove the entire vanities to put down a new floor. He had them return to replace the water hoses to the faucets when he replaced the flooring and 2 vanities. Also, I had a small leak in one of the pipes under my mobile which they repaired.

We had sewer back up after buying a foreclosure home that sat up for two years. I called and explained this and the sent someone out the next day. They were on time. we did not have a main clean out so he had to go through the toilet. We already had the toilet pulled up trying to snake it ourselves so they brought the auger in and ran it through. It seemed to work fine they charged us $79 service fee then $169 for running the auger. A couple days later it was backing up again so we called them back out. They did the exact same thing. They did not try to investigate to see why it would do that again. A couple days later it backed up again this time they told us they would not come back out unless they ran a scope through and put in a main clean out. The scope would cost $300 and the main clean out would cost between $500-$600, plus the $79 service fee, this is just to find out what was wrong. They could not work with me on a payment plan so I called another plumber out. The other plumber found the problem and didn't need to do all that to find it. They are not affordable!

Very, very expensive in my opinion. They charge piece rate plus a $79 service call fee. We wanted 1 valve removed and 4 new ball valves installed. If they had done this work, the estimated cost was approximately $700.00 for about 1-1/2 hour of work. We opted for only part of the work to be done which kept our cost at $223.00. We will not use this plumber again due to their rate structure. Quality of the work was good.

The service provider arrived on time. We examined the problem, then discussed the price. I authorized the work; he began immediately. The repair was executed quickly and competently. We discussed some potential future work, and he left.
I was impressed with the quality of the work and the provider. I will use Affordable Plumbing again and shall recommend them to others.

we had noticed alot of water leaking from an outsde faucet attached to the house and our water bill was reflecting it. We called Affordable to fix the leak . The service man came out , on time, fixed the leak and found another leaking faucet that we had not noticed because of an attcahed hose and relaced it as it was cracked.
He proceded to inspect the rest of the plumbing in the house and left us a list of projects to consider for the future. Many of them I was able to fix on my own,
All in all, very pleased.

The worker were on time for both jobs. There was a problem with where I had chosen to install the tankless hot water heater and the plumber was very helpful in working with the new location and adjusting what had to be done to make this projects work and look nice
on the house. These guys were very nice, talked to me about what they needed to do, kept me informed as the plans changed and
offered ideas that helped make the projects work. You couldn't ask for nicer people to work with.

It was more expensive that I thought it should be so I vowed to do it myself the next time. They did real well. They were clean and prompt and didn't leave a mess. He was great; it was just that the cost was more than I thought was appropriate. He was the most professional plumber I have ever seen. I would use them again if it was something that I wasn't going to do myself.

They did a fine job of cleaning up the drain. However, I called them one time with a leak and they told me that it was my washing machine. They did not really investigate it as much as they should. I replaced the washing machine but that was not the problem; I still had the leak. Other than that, they were okay. They were very reasonable with their pricing on the drain cleaning service. I got the best price. It was cheaper than anybody else was in the area.

The whole experience was professional, fast and friendly.

He gave us a very fair estimate. He also did a patch job until we can afford to get the whole thing redone. It was fantastic. He showed up and did the work in about 30 minutes. He was very nice.

Very good service. Came and did excellent job. Very clean and neat. My only concern is the top of the line price. I will likely use another plumber to finish the job but Affordable is a very good firm if you can afford their price.
