As for the conversation you had with our office personnel, when asked if we serviced your area we answered as we would anyone. Then we were asked if we knew of a company that could perform the work you needed in your area, which we do not. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

"For 65 years Miller/Humphrey Plumbing & Electric has billed our customers for travel time to and from a job. We do not charge mileage, but we keep our service call fees lower by comparison. We do not appreciate being called crooks and saying we are taking advantage of the military because I, the owner of this company am in fact retired military and the majority of my employees are affiliated with the military. Sometimes we have to adjust our service schedule and take care of emergencies and that is why the job had to be rescheduled. After reviewing the work order, we feel that our customer was given fair and accurate information and told up front what his charges would be and that is what we charged. I'm sorry he was dissatisfied with our company."
