Mr. Hodges was wonderful to work with. He custom built and installed all of our cabinets in our new home. We are simply blown away by his professionalism, attention to detail, communication skills and work ethic. The cabinets turned out more beautiful than I had ever imagined. We have had TONS of compliments on them. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for well built custom cabinets.

The provider was great. We were very please with the work that Hodge's cabinet shop provided. The work was done in a timely manner. The cost was very reasonable and the craftsmanship was very good. Overall we were beyond please with the work that he preformed a our residence. I would highly recommend him to anyone and if any work is needed in the future we will definitely use him.

When we decided to get new kitchen cabinets we went to Byron because we had know him before and his shop was located near our house. At first he was very friendly and accomadating and we felt comfortable with him. We met with him several times to discuss the plans and layout of the cabinets. He seemed to be patient with us while we were trying to decide about the stain color, hardware, etc. He kept making dates to finish and install the cabinets, which he kept moving out. From the time we first talked with him until he actually installed the cabinets was approximately 3-4 months. Then when the actual installation time was close, he had to wait on someone else to make the doors, which he obviously hadn't ordered on time. He also had to come back to install the hardware and lazy susans which he also did not order on time. After he recieved the hardware, I told him he couldn't come the next day to install if, because I had something important going on, but he could come the day after. He thought we didn't have the money to pay him and that's why I said he couldn't come. It just happened that I did have something very important going on that day. He came and finished the hardware that same afternoon, and I paid him everything we owed him when he finished. The cabinets looked very good, but they weren't the same quality of workmanship as some he had showed us at his shop that he had done for someone else. The coat of varnish is not very thick on the cabinets, especially on the sides. There are also a few imperfections in some of the slides and one of the drawers along with some other small things. The workmanship could be better. The crown molding is pieced together in several places, where he could have used one solid piece. Once I texted him and after he texted me back I called him and he accused me of causing him to miss four other calls. He did fix the slides on one drawer, but wouldn't fix the slides on another one, and he wouldn't fix the other issues. My husband also asked him for a receipt but we never got one. Later I decided I wanted pull out shelves in the new pantry. I called and left him a message telling him what I wanted and offered to pay for them, but he didn't call me back. I also called him several times after that, but he wouldn't answer his phone. Mainly because of this, I couldn't recommend him and would probably never use him again to do any work for us.
