Alta Turf

We had a VERY bad installation of zoysia in Sept of 2017, approximately 240 sq yards. The turf never took root because too much grass killer was sprayed on the yard and the residual prohibited any root growth. After MANY calls to the company, I could never get past the office manager who would always say "we are not responsible for the turf once it leave our farm". I saw the turf removed on June 10 and it came up with no problem when we had new fescue installed by another company. This installer had seen similar result with turf from Alta-Turf. Anyone can make a mistake on any install, but for the owner of the company to hide behind his office manager and not return any calls or at least investigate our claims is just not right.

Purchased two pallets of sod from ALta Turf. The price is extremey reasonable when compared to what I would have paid if purchased at a box store. $75.00 per pallet at ALTA Turf versus about $1.90 per piece at box store. A pallet contains about 160 ~ 162 pieces. Do the math and you will definitely understand. The pallets were loaded very professionally onto my truck without incidence. The equipment operators definitely know what they are doing. Shannon was very helpful coordinating my requirements. I plan to continue doing business with ALTA Turf and would highly recommend them. One piece of advice, coordinate several days in advance for palleted sod since they normally cut for rolls and have to change out equipment to cut for pallets.
