my grandfather moved into a senior living facility and i maintained his town-home. I removed 5 large boxwood bushes from the front yard of my grandfathers home in order to make room for flower beds. i left roots intact in hopes of reselling the boxwood plants. The job took all day long and i had plans for the evening that i did not want to miss. because i had seen A plus Landscaping and lawn care working in the neighbor hood all summer long, i felt comfortable asking them if they could remove the last boxwood required for the area i had designated for the flower beds, which i planned to plant the day after. They immediately confirmed they could accomplish the job that day. I specifically asked them not to cut the plant off at ground level and leave the roots, in which they confirmed immediately they would not. When i left my grandfathers town home that evening A plus Landscaping and lawn care was just getting to our property after completing work on neighboring properties. in the morning i returned to my grandfathers home to prepare flower beds. I immediately noticed chainsaw marks on the massive root ball that lay cut off at ground level. I and then found the top of the large boxwood plant in the yard waste garbage can. Fortunately i was able to sell the remaining 5 boxwood bushes the very next day. its unfortunate i didn't sell six, and i couldn't plant anything in that 16'x16' area in the flower bed.
Description of Work: the project required removing one large (15-20 yr old) boxwood bush from a front yard garden bed. I specifically explained that i needed the plant dug up with the roots of the plant in order to make room for flower beds.
