The process was positive from start to finish. Mr. Cameron is a natural people person. He absolutely loves his work and appears to be in his own world working on home projects. You must be warned that he is a talker but that in no way hurts his work. I came to notice that he makes very steady progress without burning out his energy. You can interact with him or leave him alone. He seems to be ok with either. He is very relaxed about sharing his knowledge of carpentry and the secrets of wood, of which there are many. I got a bit of a chuckle when I saw him give himself a little high five because his deck finished out true square better than the existing concrete pad.

Generally, he was willing to let us give suggestions to improve the design and structure he had in mind. We wanted to have a high level of participation in the project. The project ran over budget a little but that too was due to our own adjustments as we went along. The project was expected to take three days and took five days. We are very pleased with the results.
