This is a young contracting company trying to do the best they can.  Tommy was very responsive to every need.  There were some bumps in the road during the work but everything was worked out in the end.  If you want to discuss further, you can email me at [email protected].

I would highly recommend them to anybody. They did everything for us. They did some wood trim for us, did some landscape projects for us, draining, etc.

They did some excellent work on our upstairs. Below, they didn?t use anyone professionals for the plumbing. Didn?t glue parts together and it leaked everywhere. We're having to spend more money to have it fixed. The owner physically worked on our property for only three days. The work crew had little guidance from Tommy and they often had little idea about what else needed to be done after finishing what task they had been given.  This led to them leaving early many days causing the job to take much longer than it should have. The bathroom looks amazing but the technical(electrical / plumbing) work behind all of it had to have a lot of rework. We?ve spent a lot of money fixing their mistakes.  The reason we had the new shower built was because our old shower had standing water in the improperly built shower pan.  The new shower pan/floor is holding more water than the old shower did. The drain is higher than the surrounding tile floor.  The carpentry and the tile look great, but don?t trust this guy with your electrical or plumbing, his crew does not really know what they are doing in these trades.  If Tommy does know how to do these, he wasn?t on the job to make sure they were done properly. After he realized that his mismanagement of the project was really starting to cost him money, he no longer worried about cleaning up HIS mistakes as evidenced by the blatant failures in quality control in the end.

Response from Tommy's Contracting
"Tommy’s Contracting takes pride in the quality of our work. We strive hard to make sure the final result meet the customer’s expectation and we are very disappointed that this customer could not be satisfied. I am not always at a job site, but am in constant communication with my crew. The difficulties on this project came from continual redirection from the customer. Case in point, we discussed how the tile will be laid both at the store when it was purchased and sitting at the customer’s kitchen table. When we laid it out, they changed their mind again and wanted the original pattern, which we again accommodated. There were a host of changes every step of the way such as installation of a new window and addition of a shelf in shower which did added to the cost. There were other small changes where we absorbed the cost. This customer is very hands on, and inspected our work even before we were finished. The wife actually walking on shower floor before it was cured which is probably the source of their problem. We take the utmost care in all the work we do, we have installed numerous showers and never had a problem. Because we were experiencing so much interference, when we set the tub in place we left a sign “Do Not Touch”. The next morning we found the tub sitting in the bedroom because they wanted to check the insulation. When determining the scope of work, we discussed the pipes. The customer did not want to include replacing the drain pipes as part of the project. Since the tub, shower and toilet had to be moved the major plumbing done by us involved the new water feeds to the new locations. All of that works fine and there are no leaks. The main issue is downstairs where the drain goes. We connected in to the existing pipes and all joins were glued and holding to the existing plumbing when we left. I suspect the customer went down to inspect and jarred something loose. The customer’s father is a master electrician, so the customer felt he is knowledgeable when it came to electrical and wanted to work with us. One of my crew and I spent a Saturday doing electrical work under the customer’s direction. Bottom line, we made every effort to satisfy this customer at a significant loss of time and money. We feel we more than fulfilled our obligation. For the customer to request that we return over half the money he paid us is totally unreasonable. He still owed for needed material purchased in his behalf by Tommy’s Contracting."

We ended up asking the painter to come back and re-do a part of the wall around the bathroom door.  The walls in that room are textured and the texture was really obvious that it didn't match up.  Tommy sent back the painter without any questions and he did a great job fixing it.  Tommy also trimmed and sanded a couple of doors that I had already replaced without charge.  He was very professional and always in great spirits!

Tommy was very easy to deal with. He provided the estimate and I thought it was fair. His team hit the floor running and did the work and was flexible. They were concerned with keeping the mess contained.

Tommy did an excellent job. The extent of the damage wasn't obvious at first, but after peeling back the trim around the door, it became obvious the builder of the house had not installed the door very well. Tommy shimmed and secured the door, replaced the hinges, and put a new door handle and lock on the door. He did an excellent job and was done in about 2 hours time (ver 2 days since some stuff had to dry). He was on time, respected my privacy while working, and was very fair about charges for the extent of the work done. Would definitely use again!

As was my last experience, Tommy does excellent work. I manage my own properties, but I am no handyman. Tommy will actually walk around my house every month and will walk through it every couple of months to look for anything that needs fixing. He just fixes most things that are small (but a called repairman would charge you $100+), and he will give me an estimate if there is something larger that is broken. I paid a lot of money for my properties and he takes care of their maintenance as if they were his own. My tenants love him and he responds pretty much immediately to any of their calls.

See above. Tommy and his crew do excellent work and if you want a contractor who does it right the first time and has integrity to follow up and ensure the product is continuing to hold up, hire Tommy.
