Heating and Air Conditioning Service
To begin, he did not clean up after himself. He left cigarette butts all through my yard and garage. After the install the system did not work properly. My house was heating up to 82- 83 degrees with the thermostat set at 77 in cooling mode. It ran constantly. After numerous visits, the system still did not work properly. The first time he replaced the thermostat. The second visit he removed some of the coolant. He never showed up when he was supposed to. He never called to tell me he wasn't coming. I had to take time off of work to wait for him to not show up.
I called another contractor to come and check out the system to find out that the duct work was too small for the system and improperly installed. The feeder ducts were secured with only one screw, allowing air to bypass. The ducts were too small to handle the amount of air the air handler was trying to push. The vents on the far side of the house had barely any air flowing out of them. The coolant level was low (which he said as too high). And the thermostat from my old system did not work with the new one.
I ended up having the new company replace my ducts and fix the rest of the mistakes costing me an additional $975.
