The Gutter Man

The hardwood flooring was not installed according to manufacturing specs, though he assured me it would be the day before they started the job. It started deforming the very next week!!!! Part of that job was to build a firewood box next to my fireplace........never happened. My new kitchen cabinets are still spread out between my kitchen and living room. After many calls and just as many text messages, very few of which he answered, the promises and lies kept building. I know better, but I gave him partial payment up front. The last I heard from him, he was going to put a refund cashiers check in the mail to me that afternoon. NOTHING. I tried small claims court. He never showed up. I tried to attach a lien on anything he owns. He owns nothing. He rents, doesn't own a vehicle or equipment. He is scum.

We are Senior citizens, our roof leaked around the chimney. Decided to get the whole roof replaced. He seemed like a good guy when we used him for our gutters. Unfortunately, he never repaired the leak around the chimney. We call and call but he won't come back to fix it. He's a horrible person. DO NOT USE HIM FOR ANY TYPE OF WORK!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

Prompt, Attention to detail, tidy, personable ...I would use again

I signed a contract with Gutter Man, made a deposit in June 2018 and it's February 2019 and I still don't have a roof. The supervisor who is the owner's brother said he would save me some money by doing the job on the side and he could do it in 3 weeks but it's never happened. I tried to get help from the owner of the company and after talking with his brother he said I would have to work it out with the brother that wrote the contract. When I do hear from the guy, he gives me nothing but excuses for why it's not done. Two weeks ago he let me know that the roofing material had finally been ordered and they would be putting the roof on this weekend. I haven't heard from him since and he hasn't returned my calls or texts. After 7 months, I'm done trying to get them to do anything. I will be contacting an attorney.

They completed an estimate (free) and then matched a competitors bid and still used the higher grade roofing. Installed it over a 2 week period. 1/2 payment upfront and then remainder after completion.
