MODERN ROOFING CO

I was impressed with Chris, the owner, from the very first call.  He returned my call promptly, and at every stage he did what he said he would, WHEN he said he would.  Despite having to leave early one afternoon due to heat, his crew finished earlier than he promised.  They left the sight cleaner than they found it, even removing some shrubbery trimmings when they removed the old shingles and debris.  The crew was very polite, as as unobtrusive as possible for a job that requires walking on the roof and hammering.

Recent storms did some damage to my roof.  I called around and only received a response from about 3 companies.  Modern Roofing came out did an estimate on the roof and sent me a written estimate via email a couple of days later.  I spoke with the office, (Susie who was very nice) about the quote and when they could start.   They came by and dropped off samples for me to choose from and set a date on the books.  Very professional, they came out early in the morning and were done before I got home from work.  No mess for me to clean up, they cleaned up everything, even behind the shrubs in the back yard, not one nail or piece of paper.  I was very impressed with their work and how helpful they were on working with me and the insurance company.  I would definitely recommend them!

Called for an estimate and Chris come out a few days later.  His company had the best price of the few that actually came out to give me an estimate.  He had a immediate opening so I took it.  Spent two days stripping off old shingles and installing new one.  Cleaned up mess very nicely and did not leave any nails in my yard or driveway.

.They have all clean men.  Well spoken.  They were nice.  They did not have loud music.  The crew was like robots.  They got right to work and cleaned up when they left.  They did a beautiful job.  I would recommend him.

I had initailly contacted several companies to get quotes for the work.  When I finally had it narrowed down to just a couple, I called Suzie at Modern Roofing and asked for references.  

She gladly provided me with phone numbers and addresses so that I could see some of their previous work.  

Once we decided on Modern Roofing, she brought actual shingles by the house for me to make my color selection.  

They were very prompt, when they told me they would be there, they were.  They were also professional.  The crew that was working on my roof asked if it would bother me for them to play a radio.

Everyday, when they were finishing up, they took a magnet and swept my yard for loose nails.  Several of them also walked around with garbage bags and picked up all the little bits of trash that had blown around the yard and in the flower beds.

The new roof looks good and has a two year warranty so I have peace of mind.  

Overall, we are pleased with the work that was done and would definitely use Modern Roofing again, although hopefully it will be a while before we need to!
