I chose Kevin Long HVAC because the reviews were so amazing. I am huge on customer service - especially when the employees clearly shape the face of the company. I have been a small business owner myself for several decades now retired. From initial interest on a new ac/heat system to project completion, each and every contact I had with Long HVAC was professional, courteous, timely, and thorough. I even had an unrelated FedEx delivery I couldn’t handle and my service person took care of it for me. The young men that they sent out to check out our a/c unit were very young yet very knowledgeable. They were polite, efficient, respectful, and represented their company well. It turns out that we needed a new system as this one was almost 20 years old and had a main coil leak. It's summertime, temps in the 90s, and throw in some humidity. You know how uncomfortable it can get. No worries, as they had our unit ordered and installed very quickly. Caleb and Robert did an excellent job getting the old unit removed using care to not damage our floors and walls. They also removed their work boot as they went in and out of the house. The new unit was installed in the same manner. They cleaned up their items and made sure that everything was spic and span! The only negative comment that I have is this new unit didn't come with a filter. Not the fault of the boys doing the install, but maybe something the company would consider furnishing in the future as a courtesy. Off to the hardware store.
