ARBOR SMITH

I had been considering having some trees removed and contacted Arborsmith at the recommendation of a friend. I was told the owner (Daniel) my be a little difficult to get a hold of because he often works out of town. I was though told, "He is more than worth the wait, because his workmanship is incredible" and "He obviously is a perfectionist". Well, indeed it did take about a week before he was able to come by and look at my desired work. When he arrived I was pleasantly surprised by his appearance, as he looked much more respectable than other "tree guys" I had previously dealt with. We walked through the work once and then he ask if he could take an additional 35-45 minutes to walk back through it by himself to calculate an estimate. He ended up taking about an hour but I could tell he was looking at everything thoroughly and giving it careful consideration. He presented me a very detailed and itemized estimate for an amount around $3500. I accepted the estimate and discussed a potential timeline for the work to be performed (approximately 2 months after our meeting). Apparantly he got involved in an out of town project that delayed his coming about 2 weeks, but he communicated with me along the way concerning the delays. I was given a phone call two days prior to his coming to set up an arrival time. Upon their arrival, I could tell they were more than well equipped to do the job. They quickly got started performing their work and the one thing (among many) that stood out was their use of safety equipment. Daniel (the owner) and his helper seemed to wear all the appropriate safety gear (hard hats, ear muffs, glasses, etc), and were obviously very skilled at their trade. After three days of hard work the job was finished and everything looked great. I had never seen my property that clean and kept.
